vananichoal #flowintojuly @hecallsmeyogibabe_ @yog_a_melia @yogi_sam23 @littlegypsyfeet #boatpose so today I realized Ive been neglecting my abs ;( boat pose wasnt easy today.. To all my yogi friends how do you balance your practice to keep your whole body strong?? 2d
  •   hecallsmeyogibabe_ That's the constant battle isn't it. Every time we focus on one area we end up neglecting others. I do have this problem as well. I now have a list of 5 areas I make sure I do at least two postures on everyday. For example. Wheel every damn day. Headstand presses for core every damn day. Lizard for hips every damn day. Pigeon or mermaid every damn day and of course handstand every damn day 2d
  •   vananichoal Thanks my loves I have no idea what I'd do without you two! I'm working on making more time for yoga so I can participate in more challenges and work on a practice that's more balanced! This months flow challenge helped me so so much, before this month I only envied flow yoga and never actually tried it. Its so much more fun putting yoga poses into a dancing like sequence ! Love you beautiful ladies , thanks for always being there for me ! 2d
  •   cat_mead I honestly don't really know what I do to keep my core strong! I find that my legs are pretty weak though, so I need to think about that more. I think a good flow practice doing the poses with correct technique and in a way that's right for your body is important. But also find time just for stretching and being still. The mind has a lot to do with balance. 2d
  •   vananichoal Thanks my love! @cat_mead (; 2d
  •   nickag0g0 I think the best thing I can say to keep your body strong is to cross train. I'm not saying skip yoga, but maybe one day do a week do a calisthenic routine with a couple rounds of pushups, dips, chin ups, sit ups, etc to train your muscles in a different way. I'm a big fan of exercises that train multiple muscle groups at a time because it teaches the body to work as a unit. 1d
  •   nickag0g0 Hope that helps! All the other advice is also shaving 1d
  •   nickag0g0 Amazing **** 1d
  •   vananichoal Thanks nick ! Wish you were closer so we could be workout buddies ;( @nickag0g0 hope your doing well buddie ! 1d
