travelholics I've been outside all day planting and transplanting. We lost a huge oak tree this winter. For years he provided such wonderful shade and I planted fabulous shade gardens. Now some of plants have informed me they would like to move to different neighborhoods in the yard. The California sun can be quite brutal for those who are not use to it. 2w

travelholics When one is in the wine country (Sonoma) one is obliged to take a photo of the 'wine' vines. Yeah, yeah, I know these are fake but it's spring and the real ones are just now sprouting out. . Valley of the Moon, Sonoma County. 4w

travelholics I went to a local nursery today. This is my favorite time of year. I spend a zillion $$$ planting veggies and flowers on my little plot of the Earth. I haven't really worked out the cost to pleasure factors yet....but I do know it brings me a lot of pleasure eating food I've grown. And I do like talking to all the plants I have planted. I always tell them I beautiful the look. Ok, I'm a nerd 1mon
