theophilos.constantinou After my travels over the past half-year I got to see Volume I •• Genesis on a lot of different book shelves, desks, and coffee tables but it didn't cross my mind to document the people or their bookshelves with Genesis ... I would love for anyone who has a copy of the book to send me a picture of where Genesis is living on their bookshelf, coffee table or desk in an email to theo@paradigmmagazine.com and I will post the images over the coming months. #ReadMoreBooks #BookShelf #ParadigmGenesis #Genesis 2d

theophilos.constantinou Kibber Village, Spiti Valley [Himalayas] 4270 metres, considered one of the highest populated villages in Asia. My journal entry from May 18th, 2015 starts out ... A dusty foot philosopher, a visionary Frenchman, a fiery Canadian and an Ancient Greek mystic set out into the Himalayan foothills [...] The night before this photograph was taken this whole landscape was completely dry. After arriving from the 25 km journey where fate nearly ended our lives, mother nature decided to remind us who the landlord is of our planet. As we set up our campsite the snow began falling like hail and we were cold and hungry with no wood or food. We went out in the dark to find any villagers who could aid us in our momentary struggle ... They blessed us with yak dung, kerosene and lentils for fire & food ... The conditions became so terrible that we abandoned our post and persisted through the dark night of the soul until the sun rose the following morning and the snow subsided. Long live the spirit of the rambler. : @0desha #Himalayas #Kibber #SpitiValley #BuyFilmNotMegaPixels #Spirit #NoFilter 1w

theophilos.constantinou Jim Corbett National Park, 160+ Tiger population ... I was working as the still photographer on a Discovery Channel shoot ... The Director of Photography and Camera Drone Operator were filming b-roll and my work was done for the day, the sun was setting and for March the temperature was perfect, around 25°C. I heard a loud bass heavy thump that sounded like Indian music coming from a few hundred meters in the jungle ... Alone and not thinking of possible threats my curiosity led me to its source. What I stumbled on was about 50 or so Indian men celebrating some Hindu holiday ... When they saw me everything stopped, including the music and before I could wave hello I was surrounded. One man appeared to be their leader, his name is Highway and he spoke no English. He was not threatening. Immediately he signaled his 'suborinates' to pack a large pipe filled with hash and make some chai tea, then he waved to a man to resume the music and things got interesting. When I stood to bid farewell to my new friend[s] he jumped to his feet and was gesturing that he wanted to show me something ... This is an image I captured during the next few hours we spent together ... Long live the spirit of the rambler. #India #JimCorbettNationalPark #Uttarakhand #Ramblin #Spirit #Photography 2w

theophilos.constantinou … We do not belong to those who have ideas only among books, when stimulated by books. It is our habit to think outdoors – walking, leaping, climbing, dancing, preferably on lonely mountains or near the sea where even the trails become thoughtful. Our first questions about the value of a book, of a human being, or a musical composition are: Can they walk? Even more, can they dance? _Friedrich Nietzsche 2mon
