thehouseofpip We caught fans in our spoons. 1d
  •   michlomby Very impressive. Catching fans with tiny spoons is a very undervalued art form. I'll have to start practicing immediately... Or as soon as it gets warm enough in HK for the fans to start up again! 1d

thehouseofpip Slug's been a bit restless recently and I fear it may be bored by it's over-abundance of fresh lettuce. So much anxiety when introducing a new food. 2w
  •   michlomby Maybe time for for some organic wild feed 2w
  •   jennilil Ooh I hope he doesn't crawl out into the wild of the human house and get accidentally squished or Bruisered. Dangerous life being a giant slug. How does Bruiser like Sluggo @thehouseofpip ? 2w
  •   thehouseofpip So far, Slug seems happy in its one square foot of kitchen counter. Bruiser has no interest whatsoever but may change view if Slug ever hit the cat biscuits @jennilil 2w
  •   thehouseofpip @michlomby I wonder... Maybe... So hard to get good advice on correct slug diet. Only approach that seems to work is to google 'slug + food item' and if a whole bunch of entries come up about how to remove/kill slugs who eat that food item I then assume it's ok to try. 2w
  •   michlomby Brilliant strategy @thehouseofpip - you've hit on the 'Top 10 popular foods for Slugs' in a very cunning way! I will keep my eyes open and take better notice of what the wild slugs eat when I'm out. You never know what we might find out.#masterslugresearcher #slugrestaurants #top10slugeats 2w
  •   lellyyoung Slug looks massive! I also thought he/she was in the car at first glance @thehouseofpip 2w

thehouseofpip After two years of sporing and cone growing, my Woolemi Pine is finally releasing seeds. I've consulted the webs and am now an EXPERT so anticipate having approximately 800 seedlings soon enough for my 'pine bombing' project (think yarn bombing but far less annoying and self-righteous) 2w

thehouseofpip Bruiser (aka co-pilot) brushing up on his flight training manuals. While most are either visual, aural or kinaesthetic learners, Bruiser learns via osmosis. 3w

  •   kikita14 yet more proof that cats are slowly implementing their full-scale take-over plan to become supreme rulers of this world... 3w
  •   jennilil Yeah me too. The tower of hope aka beside my bed seeps knowledge into me while I sleep. Bruiser is obviously an advanced lifeform @thehouseofpip 3w
  •   neutrongirl Miku! I mean. Bruiser! I'll never get sick of saying how alike they are! 3w

thehouseofpip I don't care what the lit-holes say, The Thornbirds was a cracker of a read and Colleen McCullough was a cracker of a writer. RIP fine lady. Let them judge after they've sold 30 million + copies, eh? 1mon
  •   loritru Agree @thehouseofpip Colleen would pay them no mind i would think. 1mon
  •   rebesinc Totally agree 1mon
  •   michlomby I loved it - can also remember the theme song to the TV show and how stunning Richard Chamberlain and Rachel were. 4w
