thecornerox I just added these Postcard Prints to my Etsy Shop this weekend. They're $10 shipped USPS First Class in the United States. I've put the link in my profile. Every order comes with one of each (these are feathers 3, 5, 7, 8). I've got 7 sets of these left for sale (more of them will be coming soon!). 3mon

thecornerox "There was no mistaking it, Albert had stuck out his tongue at her. She was pregnant." I'm really enjoying this book. It's a quieter book. There aren't the tense dramatics from the courtroom scenes like in Mockingbird, but the book feels more complex in its quietness. It's 3rd person peeks into the characters' thoughts. This is where I'm finding the tension, in these internal processes.
Also, I love the cover art for the US edition. There was an interesting article recently in which different cover designers discussed the merits of using a design for the US edition that is reminiscent of the original To Kill A Mockingbird cover. Some considered it a wasted opportunity to not try something different (the UK edition did do something different: an orange cover with the title of Mockingbird created in the shadows of the the title for Watchman. It's striking and clever, and I love it for those reasons, too). I love the dark tree of the US edition, with its golden leaves and light blue lines, and its dark and textured purples to blues with golden yellow typography.
