thebobbyrazzi In our last apartment, my cats used to go out in the alley every day, but after moving to a second floor on one of busier streets in Mile End, I started to feel bad for them. They started to get bored, but I figured it was better this than have them exposed to Feline immunodeficiency virus or cat leukaemia by scrapping with the strays down our back stair, or worse yet, get hit by a car. I resolved to build them a lawn on our enclosed patio. It took four easy trips on my bike (no car!) to get all of the materials together and a short amount of time to build the shallow bed. I laid the sod on the hottest day of the summer and it got fried. I took it out and re-grew the grass from seed. Was it worth it? Ask Charlie. 2w
