the_wergst Friday night movie! Night & the city. Anyone have a favourite film noir? 3w
  •   cri5tiano I have never been a film noir man. I'm not sure I can pick up a title. I tend to stay away from them. 3w
  •   the_wergst This one is pretty entertaining. @cri5tiano a con man's rise to the top, pretty fast paced. 3w
  •   cri5tiano Would you say it is a good one for me to start loving the genre? Where should I start? 3w
  •   the_wergst Third man @cri5tiano or maybe Ministry of Fear. Or maybe Kubrick's The Killing 3w
  •   golden_age_ @cri5tiano I second @the_wergst with The Third Man. It's arguably one of the greatest movies ever made, let alone films noirs. I'd also recommend The Big Sleep, The Big Heat, Touch of Evil, Lady from Shanghai, Sunset Blvd, Double Indemnity, Pickup on South Street, and Out of the Past. Don't even get me started on neo noirs. Haha 3w
  •   spurlin You're holding one of my favorites of the genre. The transfer is astonishing, too. Most of my "favorites" are kinda cliche, though, since they're so widely popular (Laura, Third Man, Sunset Boulevard, Double Indemnity). On the Criterion front, I really dig Sweet Smell of Success. 3w
  •   black_lodge_willy The Big Combo is a great one I'd highly recommend! 3w
  •   gerardo_451 Any noir titles from Olive Films y'all recommend? 3w

the_wergst This is Stanley. I've noticed that since I've started using Instagram, I've met a lot of cool people from all over the world and I came up with an Instagram experiment I would like to try. I'm going to start by posting photos of Stanley all over the city where I live (Vancouver) and after 3-6 posts I want to send him to someone who follows me so they could do the same in the city they live in. Once they finish their 3-6 posts, they send it to someone who follows them and so on. I hope this idea works, and I think it will be really cool to see how Instagram connects people with similar likes/interests and will be a creative way to see the world through Stanley's travels. He's got his own page @stanleystravels if you wanna follow it and see how it goes. Or check out the hashtag I'll use #LegoStanleysTravels 1mon
