tanyaquick I wish photos could capture the sound (silent, except for birds) and smell (wild grass heated by late afternoon sun) and the fullness of a minute. 2w
  •   emysena Me too. 2w
  •   tanyaquick @emysena maybe good ones do? or maybe memory does only when we don't take a picture and leave it to memory. 2w
  •   emysena It's a funny thing. Sound / smell is so viscerally connected to our memory, but visuals, not so much (I find anyway). I rarely see a photo and the emotions and light and temp all flood at me - yet I still take several pictures a day. And enjoy it. Maybe it turns into something else entirely? 2w
  •   tanyaquick @emysena Maybe. Anything that makes us stop is a good thing. To stop and enjoy the visceral, even better. 2w
