suzannegorman Can't get moving today.....instead stubbornly lying in and daydreaming it was Sunday afternoon again, wasting time in the Club lounge at the Wentworth with my Rooster..... as we hid from Sydney's flash storm in comfort. Best way to feel like a proper grown up and enjoy a little old fashioned romance 16min

suzannegorman Sparkle sparkle last day of Sydney Summer......so worthy of a little vino and tapas post matinee at the Wharf Theatre.....one of my favourite spots to spend a sunny afternoon. While watching "After Dinner", the Rooster and I reminisced our awkward 80s dance moves and fondly remembered my blue eyeliner and bubble skirts. 3d

suzannegorman Just when I thought I'd have to skip all the way to Copenhagen to pick up one of these beautifully simple Carrara marble and hand blown glass pendants, I discovered that I could source one of the first into Australia, from Great Dane Furniture. Now happily in my possession and to be installed in an equally elegant and contemporary ensuite we've just designed for our Hunters Hill project. 5d

suzannegorman It really is bathroom mania this month, with yet another snap from site. Our Mosman project home was originally built in the 1880's, so our brief was to respect the heritage of the building but deliver a contemporary and functional design for this family of six. The ensuite light was installed today, now we need to select the frame for the twin mirrors. (See the burnished faux bamboo samples sitting there for consideration)....and move a wayward GPO. @theenglishtapwarecompany @christinaprescottdesign 2w
  •   decobroad @stchmu I like this a lot. 2w
  •   luxe_styling Left one 2w
  •   dom.kuneman I love the frame on right. It's in between the tone of the taps and the light fitting. Great job 2w
  •   suzannegorman ....I am leaning towards the right frame colour for exactly the same reasons as Leroy put so well, but in the finer size as per the left sample. Thanks for your thoughts everyone @petrinaturnerdesign @leroyk @luxe_styling 2w
  •   dom.kuneman I'm a North Bondi guy studying a bachelor degree in interiors, Suzanne. Love your work and would be happy if you considered following me as I'll be posting a few projects during this year 2w
  •   suzannegorman Love to follow you. I was once a North Bondi Girl! ....in the 80's and my heart is still there. @leroyk 2w
  •   engraciafindlay I like the colour of the right one in a slimmer size as well. This is a seriously gorgeous project 2w
  •   dom.kuneman I saw that in a recent post! 2w

suzannegorman Making beautiful is a process. Layers are being meticulously added in our Mosman project bathrooms (all 5 of them!). Now we have our cute as a button pendants installed. A little more tiling, taps and a mirror still to come. In collaboration with @christinaprescottdesign 2w

suzannegorman Inky peach blossom wallpaper caught my eye on a self granted inspiration day in Sydney on this beautiful Summer's day. Pop to Popism at the Art Gallery NSW and peachy pinot + good honest company over lunch with laughter at the finger wharf. That's it.....happy exhausted and feeling like I just wagged school. 2w

suzannegorman Pastel prettiness at our St Ives project. With gratitude to @cryingbeauty and @christinaprescottdesign who styled their little butts off on shoot day, all in the name of sister love.....voluntary generosity. Is it not wonderful when creatives work together with the intention of goodness and support? It is when the magic happens. #collaborationnotcompetition @cumulusliving @stylecraft_dot @haydesign @cultdesignau @kipandco 3w

suzannegorman The thing about my job that fascinates me the most is.....how much I love it and how rarely it feels like work. Today on a sourcing hunt with my design sister @christinaprescottdesign we found this sweet peachy blossom linen that could be very special in the right situation.... Just you wait and see. 3w
  •   blazingglory It's lovely, combines two of my favourite things, flowers and fine fabric printing. Look forward to seeing what you do with it. 3w
  •   christinaprescottdesign Sooo fun. Let's do it again next week! 3w
  •   petrinaturnerdesign Yes work that rarely feels like work... how wonderful... and so is this gorgeous linen. 3w

suzannegorman Still thinking of these beautiful works by Emily Besser at Saint Cloche, curated by @amber_creswell_bell I was too slow to snap one up, which is the shame of it.....and this has left me wanting. #oneday 3w

suzannegorman You throw yourself to the wind whenever a story is published. The nerve wracking business is not so much the images of the spaces as you can generally be there with the photographer and have a little sneak peek at what is being snapped. Anyway there is always time before to give it a good jzoosh and get your nickers off the floor! The portraits are another matter. I always manage to twist my legs, dip my head (something I learnt observing Princess Di) and the worst is the silly eye squinting (why?!?). But what truly terrifies me is the text - I generally find it cringeworthy reading things I've said (& quite often not actually said).....the whole business makes me want to dive for cover, from the feeling of raw exposure. Which is all very complicated and nonsensical of me really, since honestly it is hugely flattering when a mag wants to publish your work and no doubt it is a wonderful opportunity to show my work and connect with (fingers crossed) future clients. So much gratitude to Art Edit for this story.....and I think it's ok to be clash happy....... especially the happy! #itdoesntclashthatmuch 3w
