  •   stubsye @gracewoolo many thanks for the comment 14h
  •   stubsye @teddyngigi Deanna it's unusual to see them in open spaces like this, normally they in the deepest parts of the rain Forrest, they are in much larger numbers Papua New Guinea. As a species they are continually under threat because of the even spending clearance of their native habitat. 14h
  •   stubsye @zhou_wiwicelcilia it's hear getting their actual size as this was taken from a distance 14h
  •   johnpjohn @stubsye thanks Gordon, the tourism inflow grew marginally at over 5 % this year, as compared to last year, but New Delhi has seen a drop in single women arrivals by over 20 %, following the rape and murder case of December 2012. From my own observation, there is a growth in tourism. 14h
  •   soniyo_arsh Awesome shot.. Great info. 12h
  •   buster_bond What an interesting creature! I am definitely in favor of the male raising and the female fining a new mate!! If it's as big as an ostrich or emu that is huge!! Wonderful capture and how lucky for you to have seen one!! 3h

  •   stubsye @bostonjenn Jenn, there are contractors who have purpose built machines who regularly prune them, this rules are similar to Binsai in that certain styling rules are in place, eg, some are an inverted V, water shoots are removed. Usually they are feature plant in the smaller home gardens 2d

  •   stubsye @brentwooddoc no need for apologies, there's only 24 hours in a day. What a wonderfully project and involving the children in something as important as that is rather special. Better that than a bird in a cage. 2d
  •   dalilapires 😬😬😬😬😬😬Hello my dear 2d
  •   brentwooddoc You are right, this natural birdhouse is far far better than caging. She was a little disappointed when I explained the reason birds have babies in the spring and not just before fall ( our seasons are the reverse of your's) and she might have to wait to watch baby birds hatch 2d
  •   stubsye @dalilapires afternoon dear lady, days are getting warmer, hope all is well with the family 1d

  •   teddyngigi @stubsye I have Indian friends and I do understand this but having lived in an overindulged state of health and care in America I have mixed feelings about ribs showing through a working beast and I understand but it's still hard to look at! And I know that these animals are sacred .... I have so many emotions about humans and animals not being well cared for or getting the most basic of needs… I contribute to two different societies that supposedly do good I don't know one just never knows…… 1w
  •   anclgo miss my country so much 1w
  •   stubsye @teddyngigi I totally agree, in many parts they live right on the bread line and the slightest shift in weather patterns can have serious consequences. Yet they just get on with it and hope that the future will be kinder. I think this is why those that migrate make such a good fist of it because they know what the consequences are if they fail. 7d
  •   stubsye @anclgo Ana I also miss my travels there. So much more I wanted to see and experience but sadly that's not possible. Of all my travels overseas India holds pride of place in my heart, except when they beat us at cricket. 7d
