storiestotell When I first came into the role last May, I had no idea what Sourcing was all about. These two girls (and Rye, and our awesome contractors) helped make sure that my head was always above the water that is sourcing work. What I learned is just a fraction of what they know, and believe me when I say that IBS has the BEST Sourcing team, ever. :D In my head, I always call them "Source-resses" (did that wordplay work? Haha) because they make awesome sourcing magic. Thank you, Jil and April (and Rye)! So honored to have been a part of this team. #IBM 2d

storiestotell One of my most favorite descriptions of an encounter with Pope Francis is from an interview we had with some students in UST: "When I saw him, I knew it was the Pope, but in my heart, it felt like I was face to face with God, and his smile told me that I am loved by God." It has been such an amazing (and exhausting) weekend, but I have never been happier to serve. I am so humbled because God granted my small wishes, and surprised me with even more. (Now that it's sinking in, my tears come without warning. But that's okay; Pope Francis did say we must learn how to weep.) I ask now, how do I go back to normal after this? How does one go back? But maybe it's not supposed to go back to normal. This weekend is a life-changing event, and I must heed to that life-change so that this encounter may bear fruit.
Thank you, Pope Francis. Thank You, Jesus, for the experiences, this Pope, the Catholic Church, and the opportunity to serve You. ️ (Photo by Irene Manahan, CBCP News/Areopagus Media) #PapalVisitPH #PopeFrancisPH

storiestotell I find it funny that I was thisclose to panicking a few weeks back when I thought I didn't have a word yet for 2015 when all along it has been staring at me in the face through the book I'm working on. :) Thank you, 2014 for being such a delightful year. In 2015, we shall #KeepTheFaith "Faith is the assurance of what we hope for, being certain of what we cannot see." - Hebrews 11:1 :) 1mon

storiestotell 1/100: This time, a year ago, I finished writing my 5-year, 2-year, and 2014 plans, after hours of struggling to figure out what I want to accomplish in the year. When I was done, I stuck them in my planner and read them everyday. Now, on the last day of 2014, I read these lists and smile because hey, it actually worked. Writing them down and reading them everyday actually worked. :) Finished writing my 2015 goals a few minutes ago, and I'm looking forward to see where it will take me. :) 2015 in 40 minutes! See you next year! :) #takedelight 1mon
