stevinicole15 I've seen this multiple times over the last month or so, and I've been thinking about it a lot. Especially over the last few days. It's an amazingly simple and straightforward concept, but it's so incredibly true. And in pretty much all aspects...jobs/careers, relationships, health/fitness, school, friendships. Everything.
Everyone has goals. Everyone gets busy. Everyone has problems, struggles, issues, hard times. There are always easy outs, and there are always excuses. But I'm finding now more than ever that if there is something you really want for or in your life, you'll try your damn best to make it happen. You'll realize the "reasons" you've been using for not doing something are really just excuses. *IF* it's important to you.
You'll clear a chunk of your schedule to fit in a workout. You'll stay overtime or pull extra shifts because you know it'll benefit you in the long run at work/in your career. You'll send a quick text to that friend you don't want to lose touch with. You'll come up with even the most unconventional solutions to make one of your biggest dreams come true. *IF* it's important to you... #rambling #stopmakingexcuses

(To be clear about something though: I'm very comfortable in my skin and with my body. Probably the most comfortable I've been since I was a pre-teen. In my current state, I am definitely not as lean as I was in this picture, but I'm totally good with it. I don't spend hours of my days beating myself up because I'm not as lean as I used to be. So when I say I miss prep, do I mean I miss being a little smaller? Sure. But what I miss more is feeling strong and healthy. I miss the satisfaction of knowing each workout and each meal is helping me reach a goal. Lately I've been so lenient about working out and eating well, and I can feel the toll it's taking on me...not only physically but mentally. I'm comfortable with myself, yes. But I know that I could feel so much healthier, stronger, sexier, and more confident if I took care of my body the way I used to. Just gotta get back in that zone. 🏼) So. That's the end of this unnecessarily long post. Ha. #rambling
