stephanieelliesbites My Fitbit has already taught me two things:
1- despite my doctor's concern that my fatigue may be from lack of quality sleep, my sleep is just fine besides the two times I woke to use the bathroom and
2- I shouldn't try to force myself to drink that last 32 ounces of water right before bed.

  •   green_rose12 @stephanieelliesbites what brand of piping bags do you use? Where do you recommend buying them in bulk? 5d
  •   stephanieelliesbites @green_rose12 I got the tipless bags as part of my swag on the cruise. I don't love them- the royal icing separates too quickly. I'm not sure how buttercream would hold up. Most people, I think, order them on Amazon? I usually use Wilton disposable bags. I don't need to buy them in bulk, I wrap my icing in press and seal before putting it in the bag. (I'm pretty sure Karenscookies.net has a tutorial on that). So I just pull the wrapped icing out when I'm done, rinse them off, and let them dry. 5d
  •   stephanieelliesbites @green_rose12 I sent a PM with the link to the icing wrapping tutorial to your FB page 5d
  •   green_rose12 @stephanieelliesbites I've been told I should be looking on Amazon because I need boxes and cake boards too. I was actually wondering about the double sealed icing. That's a great idea! Yea buttercream is tricky because it's so greasy. I find it hard to clean the bags. Maybe it would work. 5d
  •   green_rose12 @stephanieelliesbites Thanks for the link! 5d
  •   stephanieelliesbites @green_rose12 when I pipe buttercream I tend to just fill those bags directly and trash them when I'm done. It's rare that I do that though- mostly just my kids' birthdays. And lately I've been into the "naked cakes" which don't really require much piping. 5d
