You can try a variety of them on bar at all of our San Francisco locations, and purchase them there or from our webstore. // Ethiopia, 2014. 3d

sightglass We're so thrilled to have our coffees on bar at New York City's mighty @mcnallyjackson. Since opening in 2004, McNally Jackson has served as an independent, brick and mortar, literary Mecca in a world of big box bookstores and e-books. Their SoHo cafe and bookstore has hosted some of the decade's most impressive readings and panels, and we couldn't be happier about our partnership. Stop in and say hello to their incredible staff, pick up something great to read, and grab a delicious coffee. // McNally Jackson, 52 Prince Street, SoHo 5d

Sightglass 20th Street is located on the corner of 20th and Alabama, and is open Monday through Saturday, 7AM to 7PM; Sunday 8AM to 7PM. // 3014 20th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110 5d

sightglass If you've visited either of our San Francisco locations, you've surely noticed that we're big record enthusiasts. Our crew are always blowing each other's minds with the records they bring in for our guest's listening pleasure. It's in that spirit that we excitedly announce our partnership with Seattle's @lightintheatticrecords. LitA do an incredible job unearthing forgotten gems, from the likes of Betty Davis, Kris Kristofferson, Serge Gainsbourg, and a slew of others. We'll be featuring a new title each month at each of our SF locations. First up is Memphis soul legend Wendy Rene's long overdue anthology, "After Laughter Comes Tears" and Cowboy Psych genius Lee Hazlewood's (pictured here) debut album "Trouble is a Lonesome Town." Both are available to purchase for $18. // Lee Hazlewood, 1963. 2w

sightglass For consummate coffee pros like our staff, the opportunity to travel to origin is a career dream. Yesterday we held our first of what will be a twice-annual game of Origin Bingo, the winner of which will be sent on an all expense paid trip to Latin America or East Africa. Yesterday's winner was none other than Brian DeAngelis. Brian is one of our most enthusiastic and passionate baristas, a genuine beam of sunshine at our 7th Street coffee bar. Brian told us that, for him, yesterday means three firsts: He's never won anything. He's never left the country. And he's never done a keg stand. Here's looking at you, kid. // Tilden Park, Oakland #SightglassBBQ 1mon

sightglass We'll be closing both our San Francisco locations at 1pm today, for our annual staff BBQ. One day a year we shutter early so our whole crew can get together, grill some burgers, drink some beers, throw some frisbees, have coffee sack races, and generally enjoy one another's company. Apologies for the inconvenience. We appreciate your support and we'll be back at it bright and early tomorrow, at 7am. // Sightglass BBQ, 2013 1mon
