I resolved to PUSH MYSELF this week, as it's the last week of my first round. That means: go harder, go with heavier weights, or try to go full out on something I've been modifying for the last two weeks. Well. Did that. Now send help.

sequinissues My yummy, if unphotogenic breakfast. Two eggs scrambled with mushrooms in coconut oil with hot sauce, and steel cut oats with cinnamon and PB.
My biggest challenge with the #21dayfix is getting used to so much food! I never used to eat breakfast so early... I'd save it for after my workout, and it'd be small but very fat & protein heavy. This is a lot more balanced, and even though I feel sometimes like I have to force myself to eat, I know it's working. My energy during workouts has improved, and the scale definitely shows it! sequinissues I did it! I knew it was going to be a long day at work-- normally I work afternoons/evenings, but today I had a special event in the morning and another at night. In the past, I would have just turned it into a 12 hour work day, slogged through it at half-speed, and probably used it as an excuse to skip my workout (which would turn into a week of skipped workouts). Instead, I took a long lunch, did Cardio Fix, had lunch and my #shakeology (decaf espresso, water, ice, frozen banana, cocoa powder, and 2 tsp PB), and am now headed back to work refocused and reenergized! I know I am very lucky to have a job that allows me this level of flexibility. Put yourself first, above all things.
