scallywag_sharla Today I learned how to do individual eyelashes (not to be confused with eyelash extensions) since my makeup school never taught me. I hope someday to learn eyelash extensions. #cosmostudent 2d
  •   taylorposehn Extensions are fun to do! Time consuming, but the outcome is totally worth it 2d
  •   scallywag_sharla Yeah I'd have to find a private establishment if I want to learn that and permanent makeup because cosmetology schools don't offer it sadly. @taylorposehn hopefully someday though! 2d
  •   taylorposehn Yeah...I had to go to a private place too. Sucks because it's extra money you have to spend. What're you looking to do mostly? Hair? Makeup? All of it? Lol 2d
  •   jencoempties That looks awesome! 2d
  •   scallywag_sharla All of it sounds good lol but I'm really anxious for cut and color, I just want to find my niche and see what I'm best at and go from there, so far I love it all, except pedicures lol! @taylorposehn 1d
  •   txselfiequeen Oooo nice of love to have those done 7h

scallywag_sharla This. This is why women can feel so insecure sometimes. Random hate for no reason is pointless, it just shows a reflection of the person name calling, not the person you're trying to insult. 6d
  •   asifimadeitup The last sentence is the most important. He just revealed everything about his own insecurities 6d
  •   keith_doran Wow...just wow 6d
  •   robinbanks88 If you have to say that your not gay, then you probably are... 6d
  •   thedunnski Hahahaha he's totally gay 6d
  •   smerkiez Dude has definitely saw a penis up close 6d
  •   thorinoakenbong "I'm not gay" 5d
  •   billygotjokes What a miserable fuck. He's clearly got issues if it's part of his day to go online to find people to shame or belittle.....thats no way to live. 5d
  •   bigtex79 He's stupid 4d

scallywag_sharla I was bored yesterday at school and had about 3" trimmed off my hair and got some side swept bangs that I'm still trying to get used to... 1w

scallywag_sharla My first acrylic nail using a tip, went for a Valentine's Day theme, using tape on the 'finger' for easy removal to move on to the next design. I can't wait to do a full set on @ceci_83 1w

  •   646siren260 Fuck yes 2w
  •   waywithwords Isn't this like MLK saying, "I'd stand up for your rights too, but you just ain't black enough, son!" 2w
  •   chimponopolis @waywithwords I see how you'd think that. But when the models are barely plus size, and plus size girls are looking at them online, let's say, they don't get to really see how clothes would fit them. They usually don't have different picture with women of different sizes. Also, it's like saying, "This plus size is okay and still attractive, but no more than this." 2w
  •   scallywag_sharla I have to agree and especially on the second half, seeing skinny plus models has always made me feel like I'm not good enough because I'm bigger than what is attractive enough. @chimponopolis 2w
  •   chimponopolis @scallywag_sharla Yes! What's even worse is not having the hourglass body shape. That's almost the only plus size shape shown. 2w
  •   waywithwords @chimponopolis As someone who has been in the fashion/modeling industry for over 20 years, I have personally seen the advances of marketing and the slow societal embrace of thicker women. The term "plus size" came about to define any model that was not standard size 2-6. I've seen size 14 on a 5'3" gal and size 14 on a 5'11" gal... The same size looks extremely different on the different body types. I understand the frustration when you want to see a reflection of "self" which you feel is not accurately defined by the term. I just find it counter productive to continue shaming when so much progress has been made. What is Your definition of plus? Size 10? Size 24? Your size and up??? "Plus" looks different on each body type, height, genetics, fitness all play a role in how weight is distributed. I've seen girls that I've shot that are size 18 that happen to be hourglass and amazing because they're 5'11".... And still catch flack from other girls the SAME size. I just saying focus the energy on ways to expand consciousness, not ways to make the little boxes even more limited. 2w
  •   waywithwords That being said, nothing about @scallywag_sharla says "silent revolution". I respect a woman who speaks her truth. Sign me up to photograph some oval, pear-shape, gorgeous jelly-belly, big girl, all size, all star.... Whatever! Let the progress continue forward! Hmu if you want to set aside a day to photograph what YOU deem "plus" 2w
  •   scallywag_sharla Thank you @waywithwords and you know I would love to shoot with you any day of the week because I absolutely adore your creative eye but I know you're a busy lady! 2w
