sarakerens I met an author a few days ago and we spoke of creativity and work and art. He read my slight discomfort while talking of my age and where I was in life. His response, "Age is what makes you interesting. It's what makes you a better artist. You have stories to tell because you have lived." // Today, on my birthday, I went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and watched the sunset, then went to the McDonald's on the Champs-Élysées and got a Royal Cheese and sat outside to eat while it rained. I came back to my place and fell asleep to the sound of French voices volleying on my neighbor's TV. That is today. 5h

sarakerens I had to say goodbye to Sorrento early this morning after a walk about taking photos just after sunrise. It was quiet and peaceful, and I simply must go back and explore more. Who's in? 15h

sarakerens A little bit after taking this photo, we were finished with the shoot and it began to pour. Everyone was packing up and I grabbed my [waterproof] camera and darted outside. I didn't have to think about it. Of course I was going to go out in the rain. Sometimes things are just simple, and the things you really want aren't complicated. I thought how much I wanted someone to run in the rain with me. I came back soaked of course and every Italian thought I was a bit strange. I can say all this because it's my birthday. Today.. sarakerens Alps peeking through the clouds as seen en route to Italy today. That sounds so bougie. [I normally don't post plane photos, but thought this was a beautiful view]. 2d

sarakerens The Cliffs of Moher whipped my hair back and forth. It's not the ideal time to visit them, but when you're here, it is a must. It was below 40F with severe wind and constant rainstorm. Warming next to a fire at a local pub and eating fresh caught fish made it well worth it. I wasn't about to let the Cliffs kick my butt. #makeportraits 3d

sarakerens And we can't stop. And we won't stop. I like getting a real feel for countries and cities that I visit. That's why we drove an hour north to Kinvara to Aisling Cottage. Special note: there is a castle across the street. @Airbnb 3d

sarakerens Explored a less traveled area in Port Meadow today. You can see the scale of the tree and these beautiful daffodils growing underneath the branches. These were my grandmother's favorite flower. 5d

sarakerens Give it a rest Notting Hill. We get it, you're the quintessential English neighborhood... And I absolutely love it. Everything is adorable. 1w
