saraheward Madrid's renown Casa Patas "Lead and Copper" flamenco show came to Seattle this weekend. The show was absolutely riveting, complete with two dancers, two singers, two guitarists, a violinist, and beautifully coordinated costumes. Certainly the best flamenco show I've seen in Seattle. Thank you @bryanmdouglas for spreading the word about the show! 3h

saraheward Last Saturday I was introduced to the "Casserole Matrix" at Sunstone, a comprehensive chart with ingredient columns to help you build the perfect casserole. So last night Kathleen and I decided to test it out. We used whole wheat pasta, added a ton of vegetables (no corn, real vegetables), and served it up hot with chocolate (almond) milk. De-lish! 2d

saraheward This weekend was spiritually illuminating and nourishing with Sunstone and Fiona and Teryl Givens in town. But something seemed to click into place as I listened to Neylan McBaine speak about women in the church, inclusivity and telling our stories. What has sparked a fire in you lately? 5d

saraheward Yesterday at the Sunstone Symposium I started thumbing through the Community of Christ hymnbook and was delighted to find Amazing Grace and Come Thou Fount. So glad to see these represented along with a variety of hymns in other languages, African spirituals and one without a piano accompaniment, just a drum line. I want to expand the LDS hymnbook! Edit 3.0? 7d

saraheward We soaked up every moment of celebrating Dad's birthday with my amazing family this weekend. I'm unbelievably grateful for a selfless father who exhibits acts of bravery everyday. I love you, Dad. 2w

saraheward Each November Canadians and the Commonwealth wear poppies to remember the fallen soldiers who fought to preserve our freedoms. This weekend I picked up a handful of poppies and have extras if you'd like to wear one, too. Lest we forget. 2w

saraheward When I accidentally left my clothes in Seattle for our Vancouver weekend, both Stephie and Felicia let me borrow clothes. Grateful for sisters and their subsequent closets. 2w

saraheward The best gelato in Vancouver is Dolce Amore on Commercial Drive. The best way to eat it is in a take home liter. Could they ship to Seattle, I wonder? 2w
