samuelryan_ The best moments are those of spontaneity. Sometimes it's simply a case of jumping in the car and driving somewhere new. 17h

samuelryan_ I'm the process of planning new adventures. Do you have any recommendations as to where I should go next? 🌍 2d

samuelryan_ It wasn't long ago I was standing on the top of Cheddar Gorge, flying my drone for the first time. All I wanted today was to relax and I did just that 1w

samuelryan_ Just what the doctor ordered. I love spontaneity at the best of times. My brother and I jumped in the car, ending up in Rhossili Bay. This place definitely has something special about it. 1w

samuelryan_ What goes up must come down. We had to walk back to the car at some point. 2w

samuelryan_ Due to freezing temperatures and high winds, we had only managed to get around three hours sleep. Waking up, it looked as though we were not going to get the sunrise @danielalford_ and I wanted. It wasn't until Alf jumped out of his tent, he saw the incredible sunrise. I put on my clothes and grabbed my camera. By this time, the sun was just rising into the thick clouds above. Making sure my camera settings were correct I took the shot. The light was incredible, and the image I took next was my favourite of the entire trip. 2w

samuelryan_ After quite the ride, we finally arrived in at Llyn Ogwen. We threw on our hiking bags and hit the trail. Fifteen minutes in, I started to feel the strain of all the weight. This was all new to me and it was somewhat scary. I'd never wild camped in my life, and not this high up in the mountains surrounding Snowden. It was getting cold and we were losing the light. Full steam ahead, we pushed on and set up camp. It was a night to remember, but I'll that story for the next one. 3w

samuelryan_ It was supposed to be basecamp the night before, but bad weather changed our plans. Knowing the weather was on turn, the next day we decided to walk the thigh burning route of Cadair Idris. With a lot more planned, we headed back to the car to travel further north. What we did next made this feel like a walk in the park. 3w

  •   davusp Awesome looking forward to seeing them! So where's next?! 3w
  •   samuelryan_ @davusp oh man! I don't want to spoil it for you. I'll just say, two mountains in one day almost finished me 3w
  •   devangg This looks so sick!! 3w

samuelryan_ We walked up in the rain. @buxtonc had already warned me it was a thigh burning climb. It didn't disappoint, but one thing I took from the walk is to look back every now and again. 3w

samuelryan_ Sometimes you've got to take courageous risks to get the shots you want. In this instance @danielalford_ and I did, creating memories along the way. I cannot wait to share the story 4w

samuelryan_ The Black Mountains: Cold, windy and cloudy, at least, that's been my experience on each visit. It was only a few months ago I first set eyes on Hay Bluff, the mountains covered in snow with gusts of cold wind chilling you to the bone. Sitting in my car, hands freezing and chapped, I sat down and poured a cup of tea from my flask. Taking my first sip, I felt something deep inside saying to me, this is a special place. With this notion, I knew I'd be returning. Being at the right place at the right time is true. This Easter bank holiday, I thought it would be a great idea to head up to the Bluff. With a vision in my head of what I believe to be a banger of a photo, I went on the hunt. Waiting patiently, the weather was on my side. While it was still cold and on the cusp of spring, my jaw dropped on being presented with a glorious sunset. This is why I love Wales. Have a Happy Easter everyone 1mon

samuelryan_ Meet this miserable cow . Laying down chewing it's food, it kept staring at me. You could hang your clothes to dry on those horns, there so big. The closer I got to take the shot, the more my ankles shook. 1mon
