#cleaneating #lowcarb #dinner

  •   prats Love how the name sounds. Should try and make also some day 4d
  •   kammoooo originally its made with eggs? Is this the veg version? Both ways would be just delish! 3d
  •   saffrontrail @kammoooo it is an egg dish :) without eggs won't be filling at all 3d
  •   elsharmio Shakahouka is great But why radish? How does it enhance the taste ? 3d
  •   saffrontrail @elsharmio for one, I'm harvesting plenty from my garden so want to use them. Two, they add a nice crunch texture to the fish 2d
  •   saffrontrail @elsharmio dish * not fish 2d
  •   elsharmio Good to know you are using locally grown, more importantly homegrown veggies that enhance the taste of the dish :) I love the traditional Shakshuka. Will try it this way in the future 2d

saffrontrail My dinner for one is a kind of twist on Shakshouka - sautéed some greens, onion, herbs, sliced radish in olive oil. Will now add tomatoes and cook them until soft. Break two eggs into this and cover and cook until done. #lowcarbrecipes 4d

saffrontrail This other useful thing sold at Ninad Pottery stall - apparently you put one of these heavy ceramic discs at the bottom of the utensil in which you're boiling milk and the milk will not boil over. 6d
  •   seemantinimihir It's used to make basundi. 6d
  •   haathitime They have a tagine like thing that replicates pressure cooking. And it sounds awesome. 5d
  •   saffrontrail @haathitime did you buy it? 5d
  •   haathitime Wanted to. But had a trip to pune planned the week after the farmers market so thought id do it then. But trip got cancelled. So no i dont own it just yet 5d
  •   saffrontrail @haathitime it was some 3k, couldn't decide if I wanted to buy a breakable that expensive. Bought a water jug instead that I can use everyday 5d
  •   saffrontrail @archanasr_2000 see this also 4d
  •   archanasr_2000 @saffrontrail - I have this in stainless steel. Was a gift, to keep ill from boiling over. Never used it since I am always waiting near the stove 4d
