I did it! Today I was able to get into #eightanglepose. I've been practicing this pose for months and have never before been able to fly. I use a block under my hip to help give me a lift, and today I lifted off the block as I squeezed and balanced forward. It only lasted for a second (probably less), but it happened. And of course, the requisite face plant immediately after.

Being blindfolded definitely made a difference in my practice today. I felt every part of my body pulling to find balance. I felt my breath, my chest rising and falling. I tried several poses, but tree was the one that truly affected me.
