rundebbierun I was really looking forward to the @sunandskisports flash mob adventure race this morning. It was the last trail race for the summer. The temps were low; the sun hiding behind clouds. There was a refreshing mist in the air and most likely rain--I love running in the rain. I was testing out Newton runners. And finally running pain free. Standing at the start line ready to run, moments before the gun, I get stung by a wasp for no reason.
