  •   rig_ @trurogirl haha, where did you hear fei mui? 9mon
  •   trurogirl My dear friend & coworker Stella is from HK! Ironically, my friend Hong is from mainland China; people here can't believe Canto & Mandarin are so vastly different! 9mon
  •   rig_ @trurogirl they are very different. Like Spanish vs French, perhaps. Many similarities but few words exactly the same, and a very different pronunciation. 9mon
  •   rig_ @trurogirl I much prefer Canto, although it's somewhat uglier, especially when sung. 9mon
  •   trurogirl What's really strange is when people here think that Stella & Hong should be able to talk to each other! (Ignorance is everywhere, I'm afraid...) Yes, the 2 sound very different! Tx for checking in with me, dear Riley - I really do miss you, my friend. 9mon
  •   yakuzababy nice one Riley!:) 6mon
  •   vaderbreath Tell me when you're posting again boss 1mon
  •   rig_ @vaderbreath it's been a while, huh? 1mon

  •   kenong BTW thanks for all the LIKES. 10mon
  •   kenong Hope to see more of your trip photos. 10mon
  •   rig_ @kenong horse riding was expensive but good. Staying in the mountains is beautiful but a long way to the city (an hour for us). Mostly we were stuck at the hotel because we got sick from the street food. 10mon
  •   kenong I see. I was thinking to go for the long neck village for a day trip. Did u go to the white temple? 10mon
  •   rig_ @kenong day trip sounds like a good idea. Didn't make it to many temples - just a few in the city 10mon
  •   kenong The white temple it's few hours drive away. Seems like its in chiangrai 10mon

rig_ Last week's #hkinstayay21. A short side visit to the Hong Kong geopark to feed the mosquitoes and admire the rocks. 1y
  •   vaderbreath 1y
  •   rig_ @vaderbreath cheers Noah 1y
  •   nashker @rig_ loved these rocks. 1y
  •   rig_ @nashker they were geo park worthy. 1y
  •   trurogirl These venerable rocks have so much presence and character!! Great capture, dear Riley!! (I love rocks myself.) 1y
  •   rig_ @trurogirl thanks, Jane! I used to love geology as a kid, so I do enjoy wondering around the geopark. Hong Kong was built by volcanoes, so there are some great rocks around here. 1y
  •   trurogirl I had a huge rock collection as a kid; wanted to be a geologist for a while...I have a display of rocks on a bookcase in the LR! So, we have something else in common! I'm also fascinated by volcanoes; another reason I Hawai'i 1y

rig_ The sun sets on IG star @angushoyin. From last weekend's hike up Lion Rock. 2y
  •   rig_ @jenndish lazyville How's things? 1y
  •   jenndish I hear that. It's been a pretty trying year, lots of highs, lots and lots of lows. Overall Even Steven, I'd say You? 1y
  •   rig_ @jenndish I've been lucky, more highs than lows. Work is busy and tiring but I'm not complaining - there are lots of people who'd be very happy to be given the opportunity to do my job! Hope your lows have reached their trough and it's smooth sailing for you from now x 1y
  •   sideo What a shot? How are you Riley? 1y

  •   rig_ @qni_chan thanks 2y
  •   eelnej Nice, Rig. Love the colors! 2y
  •   rig_ @eelnej thanks Jen! The sky was a lovely blue as long as you looked straight up (else it was an ugly, polluted haze if you looked to the horizon) 2y
  •   eelnej Oh, what a shame. Seattle is that way now, too--well, when we've had a few days without rain. So sad. 2y
  •   trurogirl Great shot of my faraway Bro @furkidsinhk !! Turning the tables here: you are not the subject! 2y
  •   rig_ @trurogirl yes, there were a lot of photos of me that day! Not enough of Pete. 2y
  •   rig_ @jonesylife thanks! 1y

rig_ A view from a train, looking down at Cairns in far North Queensland, Australia. 2y
  •   zirosou2y
  •   trurogirl Such a gorgeous vista!! What a wide-open view! Fantastic, Riley! 2y
  •   rig_ @wwtang @trurogirl it was a great view! I definitely recommend the train trip if you ever find yourself in Cairns. It's a vintage train from a mountainous track built at the cost if numerous lives in the 1880s. 2y
  •   rig_ @zirosou thanks! 2y
  •   agnes_leung Awesome 1y
  •   eelnej Holy moley! 1y
  •   rig_ @eelnej it was a pretty amazing view! 1y

  •   rig_ @yakuzababy thanks Karen! 2y
  •   trurogirl 'Snakes on a tree'! Impressive, Riley! 2y
  •   rig_ @trurogirl thanks Jane! The strangler figs are quite a sight. Eventually it'll kill the tree. 2y
  •   trurogirl That's the sad part I have to constantly cut my ivy away from my hemlocks and other trees! 2y
  •   rig_ @trurogirl ivy grows pretty fast - that must keep you busy! 2y
  •   kaiip I always think that tree is a difficult subject to photo 😛 1y
