richnz Anyone successfully transplanted #garlic? Missed harvesting a bulb or two and now they are well underway but too close together. Gently separated and replanted. #kiwigarden #pesticideherbicidefungicidefree #Autumn #organic #garden #backyardnation 3w
  •   patiwidby I plant on the fall, harvest the following summer in MI 3w
  •   patiwidby In the fall. Cloves are 6 inches apart. 3w
  •   patiwidby 20 to 30 bulbs per season. 3w
  •   glenrossboss We managed it once with some Wanaka elephant garlic didn't work again even with fresh new bulbs. When I find small cloves like this I cook them 3w
  •   xohpeko They should be fine with that. 3w
  •   wekawitch Do it year round. Miss some then they sprout 3w
  •   kengardener I found some discarded ones at work and took them home and replanted them, they were a lot smaller but seem to be ok at the moment. 3w
  •   richnz @wekawitch they seem happy enough for sure ! 🏼 2w

richnz Had a good time at a bio intensive gardening day at this wonderful homestead. The course followed many of John Jeavons, Director of the GROW BIOINTENSIVE principles. He wrote 'How to Grow More Vegetablesand Fruits, Nuts, Berries, Grains, and Other Crops Than You Ever Thought Possible On Less Land Than You Can Imagine.' #organic #vegetable #carboncrops #compost #doubledig #moisturemanagement 1mon
  •   ijclarke37 Thanks for the heads up on this text. We may be able to use it at #5waysfarm @clippitycloppity 1mon
