retromummy 10 out of 10 for Target babywear for boys this winter! Prices were too good to let go and I have an almost 9 month old who is growing at record speed. Not sponsored just loved it all @targetaustralia 1d
  •   beatrix_mummy The fox! :) 1d
  •   shellnel @brionyzagame fox jumper for Charlie! 1d
  •   binkies_table They're cute! Why is it never as much fun sewing for boys? I seem to make a lot more things for girls and mummas leave the buying for their boys. And why not when it looks like that?? 1d
  •   melindasmix When my kiddos were little I use to buy lots of their clothes from Target too, they were great quality and great prices, I'm glad that hasn't changed (my kiddos are 22 & 24 now) 1d
  •   trixib3ll3 Ooh I need that fox jumper! 1d
  •   tess_eh Boys clothes have totally improved since mine was a baby (15 in a few weeks ... How did that happen ?!?!) I used to sew all his 😀 now, I never sew anything ! 1d
  •   brionyzagame @shellnel thanks! I'll be on the lookout! 23h

retromummy Such lovely news to wake up to
・・・
Look at that adorable newborn face. We can't wait to see the princess fashions this little girl wears #royalbaby 2d
  •   melindasmix It's so exciting I love to hear of a new babies arrival 2d
  •   4lildarlins Nothing better than a beautiful new baby 2d
  •   lgafa Love seeing babies go home in knitwear 2d
  •   azalia17 She's beautiful! I couldn't help but think she does not look at all squishy/puffy for a baby just born. Mine always were for that first 24 hours. 2d
  •   windyrisepatchwork And I think go Kate, there's nothing princessy about you! Overdue, not induced, 2.5 hour labour and out the next day. Good on her! And a beautiful little girl too. 2d
  •   squeeze_cuddles I was hoping for a princess So beautiful 2d

retromummy Casting on tonight and going to do little stripes for body and the soft grey for trims. Wish me luck. Thought all in one colour might get boring and I know myself with big projects 4d
  •   corinna_rhodes_ Love it. Such a lovely colour mix and very practical. Starting a new project is always the best of fun. 4d
  •   jaliney @retromummy beautiful. Have you finished the Wallaby? You are too quick. 4d
  •   retromummy One sleeve to go I'm cheating @jaliney 4d
  •   jaliney @retromummy what do you mean by cheating? Also with your gidday baby and the wallaby, what method of circular do you use? 4d
  •   retromummy Starting the next project before finishing the one I was doing I use double pointed for sleeves. Just me. Did magic loop for one but always go back to double pointed @jaliney 4d
  •   jaliney @retromummy oh that is good cheating. I understand that. I went to a knitting clinic and was taught magic loop, but teacher said that double point is really the way to go and better finish. Might try that with the wallaby. Have a happy weekend. 4d

retromummy Dough is proving and it's pizza night here! Kids favourite and they make their own....I do have to clean the floor afterwards though:) 5d
  •   alisquiltsncakes We're having pizza night too. Kids are in the oven right now! 5d
  •   alisquiltsncakes (As in 'the kids pizza's', not the kids themselves). 5d
  •   melissa_loggie That's exactly my plan tonight too! Minus the kids, but the floor clean will still be required 5d
  •   lauzminns It's time to get a dog @retromummy and then there will be no cleaning the floor for you! 5d
  •   littlelollyquilts We still have pizza night and mine are 22,21,19,16 & 13! And there is still mess on the floor plus there are usually a boyfriend or two as well good times! 5d
  •   cambriccotton @retromummy Friday night was always our home made, make your own pizza night. Kids loved it. 5d

retromummy Easy little skirt I made yesterday on the blog. Honestly the best way to get some sewing done is to keep it quick and easy, that's my motto as I struggle to find time for my crafts right now. 1w

retromummy Call me ambitious but I'm going to try and make everyone's winter pjs this year. No buying just making. 1w
  •   whatsmummyupto Made both my girls some winter pjs last night! Just used basic tshirt, and leggings patterns, and added rib cuffs at the wrists and ankles. Cute, comfy and a very quick sew! Love homemade pjs! Can't wait to see what you come up with. 1w
  •   kath_hintz Always made my girls pjs and they loved them. Go for it Corrie they take no time at all 1w
  •   5_times_blessed Back when I had just 4 I did this. This year I'm making a dressing gown and dresses. Dresses are expensive and not readily available to the liking of my size 10 daughter. "Pretty with flowers" just doesn't seem to exist after size 8. 1w
  •   smileykylie72 Spotlight has flannelette half price atm :-) I make my kids pj's, but there is only 2 of them! 1w
  •   retromummy Yes @5_times_blessed even just for 8 year olds it can be tricky. Hope you'll share a pic with me! Love to see what you do:) 1w
  •   smallstepsbignoises I do about 50% of my girls pjs (she likes the slim leg/long sleeved top ones from cotton on as well) I just do super basic pants and peasant style long tops/dresses. I've never tried a dressing gown tho ..... 1w
  •   5_times_blessed I have a few pics already up on Instagram. Feel free to take a look😀 The dress for my 7 year old was the most successful, but I didn't really like the first one I made for my 10yr old, so ducked into spotlight for a couple more patterns. The dresses for my almost 2 year old are from an amazing pattern of my mum's. They look plain, but are perfect with tights and a hand knitted jumper. I made the boys pjs a little while ago. I had specific requirements from Henry (5) that they had to have planes. So cute. 1w
  •   5_times_blessed @smallstepsbignoises Aimee dressing gowns are really easy! No zippers, buttons or even elastic. Definitely something quick to make. I made one each for my two biggest two years ago, which they are still wearing, because I made the sleeves with an optional sleeve turn up and extra long. 😀 1w

retromummy There has been sewing. On the blog, tissue covers are so quick and easy to make and a great excuse to dust off my machine 1w
  •   16razzyrose16 I made a few of them last year. 1w
  •   leonie_kaletsis Yours look so pretty, I did a couple of dozen last year for the school market day, and they were such a good seller. Will make more this year. Happy sewing 1w
  •   ems_adventures Yay for dusting off sewing machines! I did the same yesterday. Your tissue covers are really cute. 1w
