rbpotter18 How would you like to wake up to this view? Here is a wide angle shot to give you a perspective of how beautiful our mountain and the scenery is from upper valley Hood River with orchards in the foreground.
I took a several different shots of this landscape but I decided to settle with this one for today!
Have a good Monday and a great week everyone!

rbpotter18 Mount Hood, called Wy'east by the Multnomah tribe, is a potentially active stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc of northern Oregon. It was formed by a subduction zone on the Pacific coast and rests in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is located about 50 miles (80 km) east-southeast of Portland, on the border between Clackamas and Hood River counties. In addition to being Oregon's highest mountain, it is one of the loftiest mountains in the nation based on its prominence.

And that is what I call majestic, love this mountain!

rbpotter18 "I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure in the landscape - the loneliness of it - the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it - the whole story doesn't show."
- Andrew Wyeth
