radam2 Unfortunately, all things have to come to an end. Had a great time in Tahoe and an even better time spending it with family. Now time to adventure to the coast! 51min

radam2 What a great day of exploring, and what an even better way to end it with a beautiful sunset. Now time for a warm fire and some hot tea. 18h

radam2 I love shooting on this old lady. It's such a meditative process and having to wait to see your image adds to the excitement. #120 1d

radam2 And for my last photograph in the love of #WinterSolstice , the darkest night of the year, is this image of #HalfDome .
Taken in the early hours of the day, the exposure for this image was 2 hours 17 minuets and 7 seconds long. You may noticed a streak of light along the north face of this slab of granite. Those are rock climbers climbing a route.

radam2 Another one of my favorites, I snapped this on a cold night after getting lost with @mrsgrubby on our way back from The Diving Board. With just the clothes on our back and a little bit of food, we set up camp somewhere beneath the south face of #HalfDome . If you look closely, you can see our bag dangling from a tree in hopes that no critters or bears will find our food. It was a cold night, but we survived our first "epic". 6d

radam2 For the love of the shortest day of the year, but darkest night, I will be posting of few of my favorite night photos in hopes that it inspires others to go out today and explore!

This photograph is one I took on a night of a full moon. It was around 3 am when I took this and used a different technique to get this finished product. (Nerd beta) I took around 300 photographs in the course of 30 minutes. Each photograph was exposed at 4.0s, f/1.6, and ISO 800. In post-production I then merged all the images together using a free program called StarStaX and produced this image!
Feel free to ask me any additional questions! For full image, go to my Facebook page (link in bio).

radam2 One of my favorites, we were excited to get to Indian Rock. It has one of the most fabulous views of #Yosemite Valley! 7d

radam2 We have been creating fires since we have been cavemen. It has been wired in us that a fire provides a lot of great positivities for our life. Things like being a source for cooking food, having social gatherings, protection, and more. So why not create a fire on these chilly nights and enjoy it with others just like how our ancestors once did. (If you look, you can see Half Dome in the background.) 1w

radam2 My bucket list initiative is to travel back to Thailand. There is nothing more important to me then photographing my adventures and sharing with others the importance of stepping into uncertainty and being in the present moment. As I am typing this up right now someone is stuck in their room and they are scared to leave it. They are scared to maybe leave their home town or speak in front of a class because it is uncertain. I want to tell them that yes it is uncertain, but it is ok. I want to showcase that it is ok to travel through uncharted waters, that fear is a compass showing us where to go. And once we are comfortable with the uncertainty, great things await. I want to show that this place of uncertainty should be a relationship. A place where we will learn many beautiful things about ourselves and life. I learned the importance of the present moment and stepping into uncertainty two years ago when I went to Thailand. Now I want to go back and document my journeys. I want to meet the people of the country and get to know them. To take their portraits and share their story on @instagram . I want to see the country and the lands more in-depth and have the opportunity to capture some beautiful landscapes. The Buddha once said, "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment..." and I would be honored to have the opportunity to radiate this to others on here. #PPTBLIV @passionpassport 1w

radam2 Extraterrestrials...for full image go to my Facebook page. Link in bio #PPIncandescentLights @passionpassport this extraterrestrial moment was very memorable to me because the nights here in Yosemite are usually illuminated by the moon. So when we add artificial light in our woods, magical things happen. The amount of excitement I had after looking at my cameras LCD display after snapping this photo was indescribable. Once the excitement settled down, I put my camera away and enjoyed the present moment. 2w
