race4fitness Help a girl out tell me I'm not alone?!?!? 😟 .
Today my hubby kicked me out of the house and told me to go buy NEW workout clothes.
I truly suffer from a disease called ==> woman that hoards fitness clothes for decades. Anyone else???? Today I was skipping around in what I THOUGH was my best pair of workout pants ever. I mean my Under Armor pants have been with me threw Tough Mudder, zip lining in Maui and half a dozen mud runs and stroller walks with my now 7 & 9 year old lol. Their like my baby! Gulp here comes the crazy part...I put a number to how many years old they where and they where well over six years old! Time to burn some clothes like the move..."Mr Mom!" (Tell me you know what I'm talking about with the Mr Mom movie...I'm showing my age here ). Make a LONG story short I can't just go and buy black pants that would be boring right? What do you think? AND PLEASE...GO easy on me, tell me I'm not alone being a fitness hoarder???? .

Remember I told you I was gonna pick up running just a few days a week? I'm not strong at it and totally suck wind, but in numbers I can get it done with these amazing lady's pushing me. Adding just a few runs in a week and already seeing progress. I'll take it....one week at a time. But truly ANYTHING to get out side and enjoy some vitamin D! Happy Saturday!!!

BIG time reflection while my sister was visiting this week. She reminded me how far I have come and a funny story about me many years ago I even forgot about. When I met my hubby 20 years ago I had a hard time ordering food through the drive through or at a restaurant. Your thinking what?!??! I was very shy and would get so embarrassed so I would have others do it for me. Holy cow...who was that girl 20 years ago?!?!? .

I was a girl that had..... No confidence
No value in herself
No dreams
No love for herself
No drive to want to be better.
.
I am ==>> NOT <<== that girl anymore and am I am so thankful.
What changes???
.
My circle of influence
My faith in myself
My dreams grew legs
My daily habits
My desire to help others
My confidence and belief in myself
My leaning on the LORD
.
It all stared with one decision leading to a compound effect and multiplying from there. ==> NEVER GIVE UP! You can change IF you want....it starts with daily growth and NOT focusing on the BIG picture each day. BUT the right NOW!!!!

I now focus on simple portion control and getting enough of each food group. No more guessing if I'm getting enough for my goals. I help 100s of people all over the country doing the same thing. . ️Coat sweet potatoes in coconut oil. (Coconut oil keeps you fuller longer while adding good fat) Wrap in tin foil individually then Bake at 400 for 1 hour. Let cool and bag into individual servings, 1/2 cup.
. ️Cook ground turkey on high in skillet to lock in moisture. Don't season and place into individual servings, 3/4 cup.
Season when ready to eat with salsa, spaghetti sauce or taco seasoning for easy meals durning the week.
. ️vegetable & fruit servings 1 cup...easy grabs.
. ️Crock pot chicken: cook chicken tenderloins on high for 3 hours. (Not frozen) Add 1 cup water, 1 cup low sodium organic chicken broth. Add mustard or balsamic for flavoring. Shred chicken with fork to shred the when done. .

I freeze the sweet potatoes, shredded chicken and ground turkey all in the right portions. Makes for a successful week and easy meals.
