poeticwordvomit It was a blast hanging out with this talented guy, @jarradseng.

I'm totally in love with his recent portraits of Maasaj children, captured in a remote area of Tanzania and keep revisiting them. If you're not familiar with his amazing feed, drop by and be amazed.

And yes, we all know about beards of Instagram, but this guy wins in the mane category!

Had a blast hanging out with a rad bunch of peeps yesterday. Pictured here is one of those people, the talented and ridiculously photogenic @ameliesatzger.

poeticwordvomit I love revisiting a familiar place and discovering new perspectives and grammin' opportunities. I never usually enter MCA Sydney from this side, but I was sure glad I did on this particular day.

In other news, to all Sydney IGers wondering what's happening this month, head to @igersSydney for details on the upcoming meets, briefly outlined below.

27th September: iPhone Photography meet/edit session at the George st Apple store, in line with Art & About Sydney, hosted by @solarfractal and myself.

28th September: Grain Bar, Four Seasons Hotel (@fssydney) meet with a great prize up for grabs for the best photo from the day!

poeticwordvomit Met @shanecorderoy at #chb_instameet1 and a few minutes later asked him if he could stand out there for a SlowShutter for me. The waves were pretty crazy so I'm happy he obliged (thanks Shane!) knowing full well he possibly could get soaked.

On a side note, although I share iPhone only here, I do own a Canon 550D and try to bring it along to meets (okay, so I've taken it to 2 out of the 30+ I've attended ) to learn more, from fellow IGers, as I hope to be comfortable in complete manual mode one day. I'm now wanting a full frame and am thinking of purchasing the 6D. Anyone have it? Thoughts?!

poeticwordvomit Attended an instameet yesterday with a rad bunch that started here, one of my favourite places, Catherine Hill Bay.

I hope everyone has had an equally great weekend! Tell me what you got up to... it may inspire some ideas for (my currently free) next weekend.

Please feel free to share some of your favourite b&w photographers below as I would love to browse some fresh mono feeds today.

poeticwordvomit Nothing really special going on here - I even contemplated putting a turtle or something on it to make it worthy of posting. But I was instantly reminded of my childhood whilst capturing this. Do you have the ridiculously sugar loaded Kellogg's cereal Froot Loops where you're from? Well, as a kid, I would pick out all the green Froot Loops from the bowl (and always refused to eat the red ones!) So basically, this reminded me of that. 1mon

poeticwordvomit Possibly #caughtgramming.

Her? Or me? I'd say me. Totally me. Why? Because as soon as I took this shot, the girl looked up and I casually started laughing out loud and talking to myself, pretending to be on a call. Thankfully I had my earphones on, otherwise I would have appeared totally crazy.

On a more serious note, THANK YOU for all the love regarding last weekends WHP for #linemeetscorner. Yet again, it is evident just how amazing, supportive and inspirational the @instagram community is.

poeticwordvomit Finding an opening in a fence that allowed me to get up close and personal whilst plane watching isn't really #tresgramming, right?

My final entry into @instagram's #WHPlinemeetscorner.

Can I just say, there was a period where I was able to respond to all comments, but you guys have been far too awesome lately that I just haven't been able to keep up. Just know, I do read and appreciate all your kind words, always - thank you!

poeticwordvomit Sometimes, you have to head to a rooftop carpark, lean over the edge and risk dropping your phone for a shot.

In this case, it was an absolute must for @instagram's #WHPlinemeetscorner.

poeticwordvomit A lookup of my favourite bridge in Sydney, the Anzac Bridge. // #threecornerprecisioncrop.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that has tagged me in a comment or sent a DM, text or Facebook message regarding @instagram's #WHPlinemeetscorner post announcement.

Instagram is many things, but one thing it surely is, is a place where creative ideas and inspiration are born, shared and spread. Many influencers hope to be recognised for their ideas, and whilst most usually are, my thoughts do echo all the sweet messages I've received from many of you - that the WHP announcement could have been my little moment, to highlight the OCD precision cropping style I've inspired and become known for, often cropping with 1, 2, 3 or 4 lines hitting corners, but alas it wasn't to be.

I always give credit where it's due, so although it personally boggled my mind, in keeping true to my word, let me clarify something regarding the #linemeetscorner tag itself. Yes, I've always cropped OCD style, with a line meeting a corner or lines meeting corners and have always commented along the lines of "love how the line meets the corner!" on majority of posts I've come across, but @slowjam98 did create the tag... after being inspired by my line to corner cropping style. As many of you have already voiced, it would be nice to see the both of us credited.

In saying that, I'm looking forward to seeing some epic (and hopefully OCD style) entries.
