plasticunderpants Not Dom, but looks like him. And indeed he carried his rubber frisbee like this until it mysteriously teleported to the roof. Mysteriously, because I have no neighbors or yard men, and he denies he used his registered mutant telekinesis. 1y

plasticunderpants I give these out on occasion. Truth. Keep about 3 or 4 with me. 1y
  •   hellojessie Can I get one without whining? Or is that part of the deal? 1y
  •   kellyjadeking_art That's brilliant! Wish I'd thought of that one.. I usually just give out whatever I happen to find in my pocket at the time.. Such as buttons, dice, pegs, marbles, tiny bones, fluff ect. 1y

plasticunderpants Cleaning lady took this one today. Says he wedges himself into his chair and patiently waits for her to do her thing...until the vacuum. Then, well, then it's total chaos...for her. He, on the other hand, thinks her whole purpose in coming is to bring him new mops and to animate the vacuum. Oh yeah, and he also loves mops. 1y
  •   dianesc Buddy's favorite spot too.. Have to skooch him over to sit there with him .. 1y
  •   plasticunderpants @dianesc HA! Dom and I don't share chairs... a) Because we're both dudes, and b) because we're both dudes, and c) because I already have my own (black-leather identical twin to the one I let him have)...which I use exclusively for non-cuddling. LOL! 1y
  •   plasticunderpants And d) because we're both dudes. Hahaha! 1y

plasticunderpants Amazing why switching just two letters can do! Ha! Just as an aside, in college, we knew of some kids with an acetylene torch who cut down, switched, then re-soldered the "n" and the "r" on the side of a "fine arts" building. It think, almost 20 years later, it's still the "Fire Ants" building. 1y
  •   fabulousdc They should be thankful it didn't become the "ine farts" building. I'm just sayin... 1y

plasticunderpants Life hack #217: Whenever you go for Japanese take-out, when you drive up to the window, jump into the passenger seat and strike an iconic pose and stare staring into the window at the little girl taking your order and the cook. You are guaranteed they'll add a little extra for you, even if you didn't order it. 1y

plasticunderpants ...and unfiltered. Still patiently waiting for our Japanese take-out. His favorite is a toss-up between Philly rolls and hibachi steak. 1y

plasticunderpants Not only did you just sound out the whole message, but you heard the Swedish Chef doing it. ...and you laughed. Just sayin'. 1y
  •   plasticunderpants One last thing: what's cool is that (if you got it), your mind instantly and effortlessly put together two different sets of experiences that you first encountered a quarter of a century apart, which have NOTHING to do with each other, triggering the memory of real sounds you heard (again, 25 years ago!) by first decoding visual symbols then shooting them across to the other side of your brain to get reassembled as inaudible AUDIO. All in 7 thousandths of a second. Voodoo, man. Voodoo. 1y
  •   dianesc Never thought I was so dense till now! I've read this a dozen times and still don't know what it says 1y
  •   plasticunderpants @dianesc well, don't feel bad. You have to know two key things: 1) you have to have seen the Swedish Chef on the Muppet Show and remember how he talked. 2) you have to have also seen the Dos Equis "Most interesting man in the world" commercials. You put em together and you get a parody of the commercial with the Swedish Chef in a smooth tux mumbling the way he always mumbles. 1y
  •   guy_agave @trouble_with_lisa here's a firpty dirpty dur fer you. 1y
  •   trouble_with_lisa @guy_agave hahaha Made Me smile!! Thanks! 1y

plasticunderpants This is why I freakin love living in the South: you not only have things like an old fireplace on the edges of fallow cotton field that a farmer don't bother to tear down, nor the fact that no one thinks things like this seem odd or out of place, but that as a Southerner, you PRESUME there's a story for why the ivy grows only on the chimney and not the hearth. (By the way this is close to my house.) 2y
  •   plasticunderpants Me? Georgia, born and raised. Flannery O'Connor woulda used this chimney in a story of hers, I feel sure, if she had ever seen it. HA! 2y
  •   plasticunderpants Kudzu is what we call ivy, down here. 2y
  •   catalinala0 Reminds me of the things you'd see driving between Augusta and Savannah. 2y
  •   deovindice77 They were once called "Sherman's Sentinels"--that was all the marauding, pillaging Yankee horde left in their wake. 2y

plasticunderpants Like I said in the other pic's caption. I keep my mesh back cap right there, just in case. And you might ask, "just in case of what?" And I'd say, "Exactly!" That's why I keep it there! 2y
  •   plasticunderpants Oh, and there's an El Camino (NOT to be confused with the Ford Ranchero!) in the intersection in front if me, as well. 2y
  •   fluvsoul "Exactly!!!" 2y
  •   plasticunderpants @fluvsoul HA! I usually ALSO drive with a piece of tape on my nose! 2y

plasticunderpants Dude. One day I'm gonna meet the artist who took the time to make this. And thank them for both the picture and adding fuzzy socks in the pose. 2y

plasticunderpants Has anyone else noticed that the rabidly anti-American South Korean dude named "Psy" who sings "Gangnam Style" looks conspicuously EXACTLY like Kim Jong Un, the North Korean dictator? If you haven't, don't worry, Chuck Norris has. 2y

plasticunderpants He's usually pretty good about reminding me of everybody's names on the way to parties and big social events...like going to the local hardware store, or the "Japanese" Hibachi drive-thru...
...which, by the way, are surreal experiences in themselves because at both, I usually have to speak in Spanish or metric (usually both) to describe what it is that I'm looking for.

plasticunderpants The only thing this dude loves more than swimming around the dock...is, well, running to me. HAHAHAHA! Just a maniac. Any excuse to be in the water: sticks, geese, turtles, people, fish, and underwater communists are his usual "go to" excuses. 2y
