plamen2110 My new trigger from #apextacticalspecialties now let's see if I can install this without needing an armorer's block! 21h
  •   spudz762 A roll of duct tape and a punch set is all you need ;) thats what i used for mine 21h
  •   timothylsan That a glock trigger 21h
  •   plamen2110 @spudz762 much appreciated brother! That's what I had in mind too hahaha how's your so far? Btw watching the instructional video of a couple of guys kinda made me scared to install this because they were so careful. 21h
  •   plamen2110 @timothylsan no sir 20h
  •   spudz762 Dont worry about it too much it was pretty easy and i am definitely no gunsmith. I was lucky that my rear sight came off easy enough tho. Try to use a brass punch for the sight so u dont scratch it up too bad. I love it alot! Definitely worth every penny. Make sure that you dont lose the retaining pin for the takedown lever when u remove the locking block. In the video theirs stays in but mine fell out while taking it apart and i didnt realize it til i had it all back together. 20h
  •   spudz762 Its a little a little silver squiggly shaped pin that is located under the takedown lever and is held in place by the frame when assembled. You will see it when you pull it out just go slow and keep track of it. 20h
  •   plamen2110 @spudz762 your encouragement and advice is much appreciated and valued my friend! Thanks again! 20h
  •   spudz762 You got it brother! You're gonna love it. Please update us once you do! 20h

plamen2110 @mandyapricot she was a bit scared and a little impatient at first, but quickly learned proper trigger control and aim without much guidance. In just 21 rounds she was shooting as accurate or better than myself! Note the finger off the trigger when she was done! I'm so proud of you baby! #mandp9 #smithandwesson #pewpew #girlsandguns #targetpractice #futurewifey 3d

plamen2110 2 misfires from an #mpshield rented at the local range. This is out of 21 rounds total! Must be because it has some California safety things added to it... 4d

  •   alchemy_1 Yup and never. I think it is more accurate to have a negligent discharge. Meaning not paying attention or treating a gun with due respect. I carry Glocks too. So the only saftey is your finger and you abiding by good gun saftey. 6d
  •   kcbeem Always and never. 6d
  •   plamen2110 @alchemy thank you for your input brother! I was hoping you'd respond to this first because for some reason I value your opinion the most. I recently purchased my first firearm (S&W M&P 9) and have been debating weather to store it in my quick-access safe with one in the chamber (out of fear that the round might magically go off as soon as I chamber it, due to obvious lack of confidence in the firearm). Also once in a while I babysit a young boy (related to my fiancé). Anyways I just fear a negligent discharge out of pure lack of experience in ownership. 6d
  •   plamen2110 Thank you bro @kcbeem 6d
  •   bendeepa2 Always/Never 6d
  •   brandonvullo Definitely get more comfortable with your weapon system, guns cannot magically go off you have to operate the trigger for it to go bang. And on the self defense side you are never guaranteed the time or position to rack one in when you need to use it. For example if an attacker was close enough to you to put there hands on you, you probably won't have two free hands to chamber a round. Just my 2 cents 6d
  •   plamen2110 @brandonvullo I definitely agree with you bro. And thank you for taking the time to write a substantial response. 6d
  •   alchemy_1 I just saw you responded to me...LOL Yeah, I agree with @brandonvullo get some more trigger time. I would probably put the gun up when I babysat. I don't like keeping guns in an unattended car, but that may be the only option depending on how the parents feel. 3d

plamen2110 So my brother and I were coming home from work (carpooling) and these two guys stop next to us at the light and I make eye contact with the passenger and he starts asking all these things u would ask a stranger to make conversation ("how's it goin... Where ya headed.... " Etc.) and we both answer since we are polite. But I could tell the guy wasn't all that genuine, and sure enough as we drive off (them turning left and us moving forward) the guy yells out "FAGGOTS!" and laughs. I hate to give people like that power in my mind but I was just furious and luckily it was my brother driving and he didn't comprehend what the guy was saying so he kept driving. I might have followed the guy. It's also funny because minutes earlier I was flipping my spyderco paramilitary 2 and was wondering in that moment if the guy would have even kept eye contact with me if I were still flicking the knife open. Lots of questions, doubts, and insecurities. But I let it go, and forgive the guy because he doesn't know any better. Maybe his daddy was a bad example or who knows what. I just know he'll eat his words one of these days. 3w
