  •   khristianayala Nice one! He must love it there! 2mon
  •   philip_nguyen Hahaha he better love it in there! I made it especially for them lol. It's great that the hammers have grown and extended out more, so now they just get lost inside the polyps. Thank you @khristianayala 2mon

  •   philip_nguyen Thank you! @sincerengo 4mon
  •   jon_basco Did you use the teleconverter for this? 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen Yeah I did, not used to the lense lol. It's hard capturing fish since they move so fast @jon_basco 4mon
  •   jon_basco Dont put it at the closest focus distance. Try putting more distance so you can use the larger aperture and still get more depth of field. 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen I'll have to play around with it a little more during the weekend @jon_basco thanks for lending me the lense! 4mon
  •   hamed_darabi oooh so so nice shot! 3mon
  •   philip_nguyen Thanks @hamed_darabi I love this photo as well! 3mon
  •   hamed_darabi i dont see photo cool like this!!! thanks for sharing this amazing pic 3mon

philip_nguyen Updated FTS 01/04/2014

Winry ️ Haro

Moved some Hammers around to balance it out a little, and I think I'm finally happy with the aquascape, and position of everything ️ One day I would like to add a Cleaner Shrimp or two, and finally finish it.

  •   hoyinn87 How many different color of hammer you got ? 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen Hahaha I have 8 different hammers in the tank @hoyinn87 4mon
  •   hoyinn87 Why dont you get torch and frogspawn?? 4mon
  •   pp90 Can't get over how awesome this tank is 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen I don't really know why lol... I heard torches are aggressive towards are euphyllia corals such as hammered and frogspawns, which is probably why I haven't gotten a torch. Especially since my tank is small, there's not much room to put a variety of different species inside, so that they would co-exist with one another peacefully @hoyinn87 Thanks Peter!!! @pp90 any updates of your tank? 4mon
  •   gbeast Very very nice. I'm a big fan of species tanks - this is really cool. 3mon
  •   philip_nguyen Thank you @gbeast it's a lot easier to maintain a species only tank as well hahaha. Your Anemone tank is amazing. I never had much luck with them. Do you feed them on a regular basis? 3mon

  •   williamportieles Dude your hammers dont close up when a clown or anything touches them? 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen Hahaha nope! They stay open during the day, but close at night. But the one they host stays open a little and acts like a pillow for the clowns lol @williamportieles 4mon
  •   aaronos4890 Looks great! What light are you using? 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen Thanks @aaronos4890 I'm using a Maxspect Razor 60w 16,000k LED unit. 4mon
  •   divecj5 Awesome @philip_nguyen After 9+ years of reefing and having kept all kinds of SPS, I've found the flow and variations of Euphyllia to be my favorite. Superb tank 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen Thank you Adam @divecj5 I couldn't agree more! While I do love SPS and the colour variations, nothing brings a tank alive like the motion of Euphyllias. Your tank is like a little Oasis 4mon
  •   divecj5 I hear ya @philip_nguyen . I love the polyp movement on some of the more "hairy" SPS and the rewarding feeling of growing them from 1/2-1" frags but you just can't beat the motion of mini-colony sized softies. Thanks for the compliment Can't wait to follow along and see how your slice of the reef grows. 4mon
  •   philip_nguyen SPS seem to be rarities at the LFS here, probably due to the restrictions on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. But I'd like to one day try out SPS, even if it's on a smaller scale with a single frag and trying to make a colony out of it. The tank is doing great now, considering all its been through. And a constant fight with Cyano. Thanks for following, and I'll be sure to keep you updated on the progress from time to time, and I'll make sure to keep and eye out on your beautiful reef as well @divecj5 4mon
