peanutcherylbutter Was super happy with this unexpected monochromatic situation last night that reminded me of the weekly art exhibit visits in London. Definitely can't wait for the upcoming Art Week (thanks for the heads up @mariljuana!) & @chinshiying's art night ๏ธ 2w

peanutcherylbutter "This way to Rare Cheese", said the sign. We followed the narrow corridor that it pointed towards and discovered cheeses I used to season my salads with back in London. Surprised with my find, I couldn't help but notice the exact same voices of excitement both the girl at The Cheese Ark and the lady at Borough Market had as they spoke about using this to garnish pastas. It was really nice experiencing the same thing in two places so very far apart ๏ธ 4w

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Barce-Gaudi Couldn't think of a better way to end the entire trip than heading to to Barcelona to visit Gaudi's works. For hours and hours I sat dumbfounded in the middle of Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia, wondering how someone could possibly create something so beautiful. 2mon

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Day Zurich!
Met up with @theuniversendyou for the weekend and it was probably one of our happiest moments reuniting at the arrival halls! Discovered this warehouse converted theatre and really enjoyed its rustic, empty hallways with photographs aplenty pinned to its walls

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Day Plitvice!
Plitvice was not part of my plan initially but Debra, whom I was staying with in our Airbnb apartment in Split highhhhly encouraged me to go for it. "At Krka, you're like omg. But at Plitvice, you're walking and constantly going Omg Omg OMG.." she said, which obviously convinced me to head over to check it out! Made some friends from India along the way and the guys got soaked from walking along the path that was under this waterfall! It was such a beautiful place

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Island hopping day!
Headed over to Braฤ, known as the "Island of beauty & nature" ๏ธ
Was greeted by a lovely waiter as I got the usual caffe latte. "Relax~~~" he said, waving his hands up and down as if we were about to begin a beautiful spa session Sat basking in the sun with the local folks & soon discovered that Monday was Braฤ's universal day off! Luckily enough I managed to get a trekking map right next to the cafe and spent the day learning about this town that used to be such a hub when neighboring villagers would all come to Supetar to fetch water from the town's well!

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Day 7: Marjan with Pacho!
I can't even begin to talk about how dreamlike my first day with Croactive Holidays was. In a nutshell, Pacho, who was the co-founder of the agency, was the most hospitable and kind guide any traveller could ask for. We hiked along Marjan Hill and I learnt about olive trees, pine trees, the landscape of Split, it's growth in the past few decades & Dalmatian folk tales. When we reached what locals call the "mushroom"'s peak of the hill, I took out Proลกek (locally made sweet "wine", though Pacho said I couldn't call it wine because it was a different drink all together) I had bought from the night before & we sat overlooking a magnificent view, drinking, talking and laughing. It was like Split had prepared a Pocahontas inspired script for my visit ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒž #socontenticantcontainit

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Day 6: Krka!
Went on a day tour to visit Krka and ล ibenik. Amiee, whom I met on the tour described this place as if it came straight out of a fairytale as we strolled along winding boardwalks that stood just above the water with little ducks paddling along our sides. We talked about Maleficent, Narnia and her heavenly month long stay in Croatia. It was such a good day & looking back it seems so surreal that these vividly picturesque places actually exist. #lunchinthepark #fullfromjustlooking ๏ธ

peanutcherylbutter YOLOSOLO Day 5: Touchdown Split, Croatia
This beautiful place was hands down the highlight of my entire trip. From it's warm and welcoming locals, to the daily fresh seafood fetched from the sea, to it's breath taking views and sunsets.. It was a week long experience that left me wishing I had stayed on much longer ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ญ
