pdubbb I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend 8 weeks working at Eli Lilly and Company in the Global PK/PD & Pharmacometrics department. I had the honor of working alongside and learning from brilliant scientists. I have realized that the perceptions people have of pharmaceutical industry are far from the truth. I have been able to gain a much larger appreciation for the huge amount of work and effort that goes into drug development, that you certainly don't learn in school. Being able to meet people in other disciplines in Lilly like regulatory affairs, labeling, marketing, formulation, manufacturing, etc. has been invaluable in my appreciation for the industry, but also helped build my professional network of contacts. During my research, I was able to learn a new programming language and work with real preclinical animal toxicology data to help in the development of models. I can't wait to present my research at Midyear in December. I have grown professionally and personally through this experience and feel I will be a much more well rounded clinician upon graduation. #Lilly #EliLilly #APPE #pharmacy #medicine #LiveFit 2w

Meals:
-Chicken, rice, veggie mix (broccoli, cauliflower, baby carrot, yellow carrot)
Breakfast:
-Oatmeal (oatmeal, protein powder, milled flax seed, banana, whole milk)
-Yogurt (plain Greek yogurt, raspberries)
Snacks:
-Hard boiled eggs
-Tuna
-Almonds with raisins
-Chicken and rice

  •   pdubbb @plaguenate they're an "overnight" type, I don't cook them. I do 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop protein (I use optimum nutrition whey. I happen to have vanilla right now, had mocha cappuccino before. Both have been good, can use whatever flavor you want), 2 tbsp milled flax seed. I mix these all together then add 3/4 cup whole milk. Mix again. Then I slice a whole banana on top and refrigerate. 1mon
