    4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    2 tsp apple cider vinegar
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    2 egg yolks

  •   maryehoffman I add cinnamon to the recipe! Im mildly obsessed with it. :) 2y
  •   bernard.c @jas_1993 olive oil might taste funny on a sweeter dish like this. Maybe unsalted grassfed butter? 2y
  •   paleosacramento @jas_1993 I'm going to have to agree with @peasantstatus olive oil wouldn't be the best bet. Do you have any almond oil? Coconut oil is the best option for this recipe but you try Ghee or almond oil. 2y
  •   healthynfitnow I didnt feel like paying $11 for coconut oil when i will be getting it free at work. So i opted for grapeseed oil...@peasantstatus@jas_1993 2y
  •   jas_1993 @paleosacramento no worries I'll buy coconut oil from trader joes! And what a half cup of sunflower seed butter??? 2y
  •   brandi_dale Can't wait to try these!!!!! 2y
  •   tuesdaysmom Mmmm I usually make mine with 1egg 1 banana, luv the idea of adding some almond butter! Will try;) 2y

paleosacramento Please share! For those of you in #california vote YES on #prop37 - we have the right to know what's in our food! #righttoknow 2y
  •   werk8 Same here in Switzerland, no genetic Food! 2y
  •   bakinginheelz Please be informed about this bill. That "natural" almond that u buy at Whole Foods w/just almonds in it will no longer be able to be called natural because this bill says anything that is "altered from its original state" is considered GMO (that includes frozen, ground, blended). It also has a bounty clause which allows frivolous lawsuits by lawyers (whom wrote the initiative btw) to cash in. Those of us that love natural, organic foods? You think they are $$ now? Wait until manufacturers have to start creating unique labels for CA. You'll either pay double or you'll no longer be able to find the food cuz they'll stop sending to CA. Please don't be bumper sticker voters people. 2y
  •   ton.j.a Being cooked and frozen is WAY different from GMO. I'll have to read through the prop. Sad we had to have government intervene just to get good food 2y
  •   paleosacramento With an estimated 80 percent of conventional processed food in the United States containing GMOs, often hidden behind labels like “natural,” “all natural,” “naturally made” and “naturally grown,” I think people should have the RIGHT TO KNOW what they are feeding themselves and their family. Most of what you state is hype pushed by Monsanto who risks losing a lot of $$ if this prop is passed. 2y
  •   missallnatural @bakinginheelz that's not true, do u really think that the entire state of California will be 100% cut off from truly organic almonds? If that were to hypothetically happen at all corporate owned grocery stores, then it would only be a matter of time until small businesses opened to meet this demand & then in turn supply these chains or at least farmers markets & local co-ops. But more likely, grocery store giants like whole foods would adapt because they absolutely need to sell almonds in their stores & everything will be just fine. And yes, organic food is expensive now, but if this law passes for CA it will level the playing ground for all farmers to produce the same amount of crops ethically. The prices may spike short-term because there will be a high demand & low supply of these crops. But for next season farmers will produce more to meet the demand & prices will drop again. @paleosacramento I do hope this law passes, living in Rhode Island I can tell u that the people here & in most states along the northeast look up to California when they pass "controversial laws." Cali has always been a pioneer in doing the right thing & passing these bold laws despite outcries against them. & often times it ends up trickling through all the states & eventually being passed across the country (like not being able to smoke in public areas, etc). If this passes there, hopefully it will send a wave of new potential anti-gmo laws across the country.keep spreading the word ;-) 2y

paleosacramento spaghetti squash with organic ground beef, sweet peppers, garden fresh tomatoes and parsley. Love that my tomatoes are finally coming in! 2y
  •   allybubz Omg I needa try that! How do you get the squash spegetti? A cheese grader? 2y
  •   paleosacramento @suzyqbk spaghetti squash is a type of squash. You can get this at most grocery stores. @allybubz just bake the squash for 30 mins cut side down and then run your fork down the meat of the squash and it comes out like spaghetti! Hence the name spaghetti squash :) its great! 2y
  •   paleosacramento @tifae with any of my recipes or @thecavery from what I've seen are very #whole30 friendly. Just make sure to substitute any sweeteners and ghee (purified butter) etc. also make sure to exclude anything from the legume family. Happy clean eating! 2y
  •   choose__healthy Fair enough ! alright thank you so much love xxx 2y
  •   paleosacramento @tifae Anytime! @suzyqbk you'll thank yourself after about 10 days when you realize how bad food can really cause havoc with your body. I never knew how much food affected the way I feel day to day. Keep me posted and I'm happy to send lots of encouragement! 2y
  •   jas_1993 @paleosacramento where can I buy paleo friendly spaghetti 2y
  •   paleosacramento @jas_1993 this is a squash so at most grocery stores and farmers market. If you're looking for a noodle replacement I've heard of people using tapioca noodles. Mind you this should be use in moderation (just like sweet potatoes) you can also use a Spirooli spiralizer that makes spaghetti-type noodles out of zucchini. 2y
  •   jas_1993 @paleosacramento I've heard of doing it with sweet potato but thanks for the info! Very helpful and much appreciated 2y
