os83 View of the Dix River flowing into the Kentucky. From the overlook at High Bridge Park. In the background is the EW Brown Generating Station, a coal-fired plant along the Dix River near Burgin. #vscocam #vsco #explorekentucky 3d

  •   os83 @_krsmith you should! There are a number of cool views of it. The most obvious being the overlook at High Bridge Park, but also right beside it like I did for this shot, or beneath along Dix Road next to the river. 1d

os83 Hope you're all having a great first day of winter! No winter weather around these parts today, but here's a shot from a snowy day in early March at Shaker Village. 6d

os83 Sometimes I'll post older shots (like this one from October) during winter just because I feel like my feed has been too drab lately. Obsessive color disorder? Hope you all have a great weekend! 1w

os83 Will you ever go to Japan? I always wanted to be your man, but it got too heavy for me to carry. Please just understand. 1w

os83 What are you all up to this Sunday? @Reebar and I are making (somewhat frantic) Christmas preparations, including baking stuff to send to family and friends. Whatever you're doing, have a great day! Oh and the shot above was taken along Jacks Creek Pike near Raven Run. One of those Kentucky roadside views where your only option for a photograph is to stop in someone's driveway. So I did. 2w

os83 Yesterday afternoon at Raven Run. Wandered off the trail and up the stream from the mill to find waterfalls and other beautiful spots like this. As usual, I arrived too late in the day to explore quite as far as I wanted before needing to head back hurriedly and avoid gate closing time. Because of that hurry I also slipped and got thoroughly soaked on my return trip through here. It was such a great day though. #vscocam #vsco 2w

os83 The sun is out today and I'm dropping everything else to go explore for the rest of the afternoon. Hope you all have a beautiful weekend and get the chance to spend some of your time freely as well. #vscocam #vsco 2w

os83 On those golden days, how could we have imagined the cold? The nights now are vast oceans rising in a city reservoir and we're trapped swimming and gasping and praying for the dam to burst. But it always does. Time can't help but undo itself. Every night and every winter and every death. Every loss will be overcome. 3w

os83 "Where will I go today?" asks each leaf, but the wind falls silent in response. Because too many leaves are asking? Because even the wind doesn't know? There is company but no comfort for the wind-driven soul. 3w
