onevfoto Up till Sunday's supercrit, I have only seen two people with a tattoo dedicated to Marco Pantani, il Pirata, which have been during the 2011 and 2012 Giro. Last Sunday one of @shimanoaustralia's staff members had this tattoo on their right leg. That's my first sighting of the Pirata inkwork in Australia. 2w

onevfoto One of my goals of this year was to get a NRS team to be sponsored by @campagnolosrl for the 2015 season. It took a while but great to see Team Budget Forklifts being sponsored by an iconic Italian brand. @cervelocycles 2w

onevfoto I still remember how devastated I was not being able to get to the top of Grossglockner the day before the Giro went to the top of Zoncolan. Still to this day, this image of Vasil Kiryienka grinding his way to the top of Zoncolan remains one of my favourites.

The weather turning foul, made the climb to the top tough for the riders but better for the drunk tifosi.

onevfoto A little while back a few folks were asking me how come I don't post on a regular basis. I could come up with all sorts of excuses but I thought an interesting take would be to look back at my images share those memories from my first Giro and Le Tour back in 2011.

One of my fond memories from the 2011 Giro was the unpaved section of Colle delle Finestre. The climb itself is hard, about 18km of unpaved road to reach the summit of Finestre from the town of Susa with an average gradient of 9% give or take.
I can't predict what the crowd will
be like on Finestre next year but there is nothing but entertainment provided by the drunk tifosi.
The return of Finestre in the 2015 edition of the @giroditalia will be exciting. #giro

onevfoto About 14 weeks ago I had posted a photo of a chair that was occupied by a Campagnolo employee whom we nicknamed Mr Ghibli. In the latest issue of Rouleur Magazine, there is an entire article devoted to Mr Ghibli. As well as a short clip I had worked with @CampagnoloSRL that gives you a glimpse of Mr Ghibli at work, http://tinyurl.com/mrghibli 2mon

onevfoto One of the things I have learnt is never let a good opportunity go astray and little did I know that I would be bumping into one of my favourite interior designers in Melbourne, @mimdesignstudio, during the open day @openjournal_neometro had for their new projects on Walsh street. So Mim when do I get to catch up with you for coffee? #126walshstreet #neometro 2mon

onevfoto Finally it's good to be in front of the lens rather than behind it. It was an awesome day out on the @cyclingtips sickie ride and big thanks to @theclimbingcyclist for this photo and many other photos he took during the day. Yes that's the @campagnolosrl kit I'm wearing and if you want yours then hassle @campagnolosrl to get back into making clothing. 3mon

onevfoto Today I had back to Melbourne after spending three incredible months in Italy. I had the privilege of working with @campagnolosrl on a range of projects whose output you will see in the very near future. There are exciting times coming up for the most ardent Campagnolo fans so stay tuned. Along the way I have met some incredible people over the past three months as well as being made part of a few Italian families. It is one of the most humbling experiences when a family you barely know takes you in and makes you a member of their own family and go out of their way to make sure you are cared for. Along the way you are taught how to discover the simplicity of life. Yes I have plenty of stories to tell and there are so many untold cycling stories from the old days that no magazine or website has even discovered. The longer you stay in Italy the more you learn. 5mon
