oliverndenton It's been a long time since I ate rabbit... but this dish was a nice reminder of how special it can be. This is braised rabbit leg served with yellow courgettes and saffron from @ducksoupsoho (last Sunday). 1y

oliverndenton Wonderful deep fried aubergine with honey and wild oregano from Duck Soup (@ducksoupsoho). The flesh was amazing, almost like flaky fish, and the batter crisp but not at all greasy. I've been a bit slow updating recently because I smashed my phone...but I'm back now! 1y

oliverndenton A couple of weeks ago I had a taste of @porkandsalmon 's awesome scallop, done Thai style (which meant it was cured in lime juice, lots of coriander and other good stuff). I'm not sure why but I'm seriously craving one now... 1y

oliverndenton My latest recipe for Metro is a little bit out of character - there's no meat, no potato, in fact there are only three ingredients...But it's surprisingly tasty (and healthy!). Simple courgette and hazelnut salad is on Metro.co.uk now (somewhere!), so get those left over vegetables used up! 1y

oliverndenton Just finished a delightful dim sum lunch with my dear Daisy, who was eating for two (but it's nothing to do with me). It was at Princess Garden (near Bond St station) and the highlight was this cuttlefish cheung fun, which had an awesome crispiness inside from fried tofu 'wrapping'. Ho bao ar... 1y

oliverndenton With all the eating and drinking today, my mind has gone back to #jdsbbq - one of the highlights of the summer. We had a range of dishes, including pulled pork, baby back ribs, home made sausages, peanut coleslaw a d amazing jalapeño and cheddar corn bread - put together with love by @jmdale01. Epic in every way! 1y

oliverndenton Last week, meat got serious at @flatironsteak. I can never resist their signature dish, but was talked into buying their 'special of the day', a deep fried burger with bearnaise sauce. It was as good as it sounds. Maybe better. 1y
