nevesman Lately I've been obsessed with the way Indian trucks are personalized. Each one is hand-painted and reflect the personality of the driver. Most of them are filled with numerous colors and amazing type. I thought it would be cool to give it a try and personalize a photo of a blue van I just found shot by @kyleszegedi 1w

nevesman "Saudade" is one of my favorite Portuguese words but it doesn't have a literal translation to any other language. It can be explained as a nostalgic longing to be near to someone or something that is distant. 1mon

nevesman The creative process can get quite crazy sometimes. When you're desperately trying to find new ideas, you end up getting caught in a creative block. It's only when you let the process flow naturally that ideas end up coming back to you. 1mon

nevesman Thought it would be cool to share the process of a random lettering piece I made just for fun. First I like to spend some time trying to figure out which layout works the best. At this stage I work only with pencil and, once I'm happy with the layout, I use a pen. On a new piece of paper I traced the lines using a brush pen (in this case I used the Copic Ciao but the Tombows are great too) and then scanned it in. In Photoshop I start by fixing up some mistakes and then I play with colors and textures. For the letters I like to use the original textures from the scan, which gives it a more organic and natural feel. Hope this helps anyone trying to get into lettering! 1mon
