  •   rifqiy Rest in peace to those that have passed 3d
  •   someboy_2013 Another 100 killed 20 adults and 80 children in a Pakistan school all in the name of Islam.... So that's 15 heads 2 people shot in yesterday's shooting and not 100 dead most children. You tell me Islam you are peaceful ?! I don't think so yet another lesson for you to try and talk crap about how Islam is great @azemahar 2d
  •   someboy_2013 @azemahar you don't know what your talking about. Your religion doesn't have a place in 21st century life. 2d
  •   azemahar @someboy_2013 It's truly amazing how narrow minded people can be. Do you realise that the majority of people in Pakistan are Muslims? So in other words, the terrorists killing Muslim adults and children are claiming to do so in the name of Islam, therefore in this situation, who exactly would you be blaming? The terrorist or the victim? Because as far as I know and as far as they claim, both are "Muslims". You don't go round claiming that every white person or every Christian is racist and violent because of the KKK. I'm a proud Muslim and I have not terrorised anybody or stripped anybody of their freedom and peace, nor do I plan to do so. I go to an international school and have done so my entire life; I've always been surrounded by people of different cultural, religious and racial backgrounds. Luckily for me, we've all gotten to know each other based on our own personalities and have all learnt to respect one another despite our varying traditions. Don't judge me or the whole of Islam simply because of a group of corrupt so called Muslims. Not a single time have I accused you as a person, of being violent towards others, yet you've twice accused me on account of my faith as such. But thanks, I appreciate your opinion; I'm sorry the actions of the terrorists who happen to be Muslims, have put you off of Islam and Muslims in the entire world. But in no way am I apologising for the actions of the terrorists themselves, because you have to realise that that's NOT something that I've done and it's not something that I, nor the religion would tolerate. It's just a couple of dickheads who want to do what they want to do and take a verse out of the Quran out of its context to justify their actions, to which I agree is complete bull. But that's my point, these are the people you should be blaming (and I'd happily join you); the ones who commit the crimes, not the whole of Islam as a justification for it. 2d

nbcnews Dorcas is hauling coal. With a 15% employment rate (yes you heard that right) kids are very often found selling on the street to help make money for their families. This was a HUGE problem before #Ebola. Now that schools are closed, many more kids are out on the street. It's a dangerous place for kids like Dorcus here to be, and not just because of Ebola. @morethanmeorg is going to build a boarding school for kids like her. We'll be here long after #Ebola is gone and #Liberia is out of the news.

  •   musamaheppell @meicka24 I'm not talking about slavery! I'm married to an English man so I'm definitely not angry at anyone! All I'm saying is in the bible God it says bring the children to me...they are innocent or treat them well something along those lines anyway! I have lost a dad and so many close relatives, I'm not Liberian but I feel for every individual going through such hardship! All I'm saying is let's help people who are actually doing work down here to help others, not just with prayers because that doesn't help when it comes to this kind of crisis! All the medical breakthroughs that we take for granted and have saved millions of lives was due to great minds working hard and progress made through action. If all of the scientists and volunteers stopped what they were doing and prayed all day, these lives wouldn't he saved. If we depended on a book written thousands of years ago instead using logical thinking and technology to solve world problems, there would be more starvation and disease. We all believe in different things..I respect your opinion but I don't agree with it! If God did exist he will judge my kind heart born without religious influence. My morals are based on experience and common sense, I believe in respecting each other, love everyone, do good, be compassionate to all living creatures & animals and peace with everyone! I do not need God to teach me this. Let's help Katie. 1mon
