natashamprice If you were to put a bowl of soggy oats in front of my face at breakfast time, that bowl would be over your head faster than you could blink! GROSS! I don't have time for that nonsense, however, I have plenty of time for 'baked oats'BLEND: 1 banana, 3/4 cup oats, 1tsp baking powder, 1-2tbsp organic maple syrup, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, a few mixed berries & a sprinkle of cinnamon. I placed my mixture into a mini loaf tin (sprayed with coconut oil to prevent sticking). ADD: flaked almonds on top. Pop into oven at 180 degrees for roughly 20mins (depending on oven). natashamprice I decided to do a 32 minute circuit at home today for something different (actually I was just too lazy to drive back to the gym ). Circuit 1 (8mins - keep repeating the circuit until time is up):
• Body weight squats x16
• X jumps x12 (per leg)
• 30 sec fast skip
• Weighted knee ups x12 (per leg)

Circuit 2 (8mins - keep repeating the circuit until time is up):
• Weighted squat & press x16
• Jump squats x16
• Weighted walking lunges x12 (per leg)
• Weighted step ups x12 (per leg)
Repeat circuit 1 & 2 again!     Ingredients:
    1tbsp olive oil
    1 brown onion, finely chopped
    1tsp ground cumin
    1tsp ground coriander
    1tsp ground cinnamon
    1tsp ground turmeric
    1 large sweet potato, cut into 3cm pieces
    1 cup (200g) quinoa, rinsed, drained
    1.5 cups (375ml) vegetable stock
    1 bunch kale, stems trimmed, coarsely torn
    1/2 cup (80g) coarsely chopped toasted almonds
    1/2 cup coriander leaves
    Greek yogurt, to serve
    Lemon wedges, to serve

    1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Cook onion, stirring for 5mins or until softened. Add the ground cumin, coriander, cinnamon & turmeric. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic. Add sweet potato & stir to combine.
    2. Add quinoa & vegetable stock. Increase heat to high & bring to boil. Reduce heat to low & cook, covered for 15mins or until quinoa is tender & liquid is almost absorbed. Remove from heat. Add kale & toss to combine. Set aside, covered, for 10mins to stand.
    3. Divide the pilaf among serving bowls. Sprinkle with almonds & coriander. Serve with a drizzle of yogurt & lemon wedges. 2w

MIX: • 1 cup desiccated coconut • 1 cup almond meal • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder • 1tsp cacao powder • 3tbsp of @247lifeaustralia almonds & seeds protein mix or you could add finely chopped/diced almonds (this is an optional add in) • 1/2 cup dried cranberries & blueberries (added together to make 1/2 cup) • 1/2 tsp cinnamon • 1/4 cup almond milk (add gradually as you might not need the full lot).
