nandanobrega One year ago, yesterday, I lost my grandfather. One year ago, the world became a bit less bright, a bit less warm, a bit less musical, a bit less good. He left a small dent in the universe, but a gaping hole in the lives of his loved ones. We miss him so. I miss him so. The ache that will never be gone is a reminder of the man that he was: a grand man, a grand father. ------------------------------------------ "...When great trees fall
in forests,
small things recoil into silence,
their senses
eroded beyond fear.

When great souls die,
the air around us becomes
light, rare, sterile.
We breathe, briefly.
Our eyes, briefly,
see with
a hurtful clarity.
Our memory, suddenly sharpened,
examines,
gnaws on kind words
unsaid,
promised walks
never taken.

And when great souls die,
after a period peace blooms,
slowly and always
irregularly. Spaces fill
with a kind of
soothing electric vibration.
Our senses, restored, never
to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed. They existed.
We can be. Be and be
better. For they existed..." -Maya Angelou (parts of the poem "When Great Trees Fall")

  •   erichrevoredo Estive no mesmo lugar! 3w
Enfim, vale a pena! Vcs pretendem ir quando? @djalmammedeiros @tassiacavalcanti 2d
