mymnlife A handful of stinging nettles. Just don't squeeze. One of the highest nutritional levels of any vegetable, can be compared to kale and watercress. With high levels of niacin, iron and vitamin c it helps flush out kidneys of wastes and helps build blood cells. Blanch in salted water and shock in an ice bath to dissolve stinging fibers. Then purée, chop or sauté with minced ramp, garlic or shallot. Goes great with fresh spring vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms, pasta, fish, poultry, pork or red meat. 2mon

We ordered broccolini en Proscuitto brodo and a couple other things came to the table....foie gras tortellini, pappardelle with veal ragu, grilled escarole, seafood spaghetti, and teleggio agnolotti with mushrooms.
