munirjasdanwala A still evening, a mess of golden and blue hues in the sky, damp smell of the sand, the shouts and play of children, cool breezes, unending expanse of waters spread out before the eyes, thousands of souls searching for rest, peacefulness and a delightful change after escaping from the noisy bustle of daily work. Yes it is one of the most loved place in Mumbai, chopati, where thousands spend their evening of rememberence. 2d

munirjasdanwala 'Moksha Peeplo' as it is called in Gujarati. This sacred peepal tree in Prachi near Somnath Is one of most scared trees in India just like Panchwati of Nashik, Bodhi Tree of Gaya, Siddhawat of Ujjain and Akshya Wat of Allahabad.. It is a ritual to offer water to this tree for attaining moksha of the ancestors. Lord Vishnu forgives all the sins of the ancestors and grants moksha.. The tree is believed to be thousands of year old. 3w

munirjasdanwala Life grows and goes on and it finds its own ways to survive and sustain. I found this peepal tree in one of streets of mandvi and just wondered how difficult it would be for it to grow and survive on the wall. But still it has managed to keep all its leaves green and its root hard and firm on the wall...What's the biggest problem you're facing right now? We all know that adversity is a fact of life. Learning how to transform the situation from a curse to blessing is the way of life...keep on doing your best, and life grows on !!!...some heavy introspection coming out of me today ;) seems IG has made a philosopher out of me! Uhhm hmm. 3w

munirjasdanwala For quite some time I have started feeling to simplify my life, make it uncluttered and create the space for what really matters. I want to simplify life that is constant busy and rushing. Connecting with people I love and spending time with nature and in a village. Well that doesn't mean life is too complicated now, I am part of the world and not got going to be a monk anyway. But in this endless rush I want to have quiet unrushed mornings, simply seizing the day. The list is long I should stop now... Wish u all a happy Republic day 'Jai hind' 1mon

munirjasdanwala It is gadu's kitchen! most of us might have seen and heard of master chefs like nigella Lawson, Sanjeev Kapoor, Tarla Dalal and so many other masters in action in their kitchen..but today the food made by gadu was no less then any masterchef. Gadu is a young guy around 30 and is the caretaker of a small farm inside Sasan Gir forest, with limited cooking resources and without even a gas stove he had cooked amazingly delicious item called. 'ringna no olo ne rotla' ( it's a Gujarati speciality item made of smashed brinjals and millet rotis ). 1mon

munirjasdanwala Inside the forest you will find maaldharis (shepherds) with their cattle. They are the people of forest. You will always wonder, they have no fear of lions, leopards or hyenas. They can sense presence of lion if lions are nearby with their instincts. 1mon
