mtitone RIP George Kittay
Born a poor ginger kitty in a puddle of gasoline, George was reared by some real degenerates in his early life. He grew up on a steady diet of marijuana leaves, stale beer and his own hair while living in a Florida college house. In his darkest hour, George licked off all his hair from the waist down from stress, earning him the nickname, "Jorge No-Pantalones". Those were rough times, but Georgie endured. While visiting friends, Courtney found George in this pitiful state and swooped him off like a guardian angel back to Californi-towne where she continued to spoil him rotten for the rest of his hashtag blessed life. On the plane flight west, he escaped from his cage and frolicked down the aisle avoiding capture by the flight attendants – probably because he smelled a bomb and was busy saving all the passengers from a potential terrorist attack. One of the most social & affectionate cats, George behaved more like a dog than a kitty in many ways. He enjoyed humping pillows, drinking from the toilet, long bubble baths, chasing skateboards on the mini-ramp, he came when he was called, and was the best damn snuggler in the whole world (7x world champ, look it up). No doubt he was a little rascal who tended to poop, pee and puke where he damn well pleased, but George was also an aristocrat who enjoyed the finer things in life as well. In his twilight years, he only ate rotisserie chickens and insisted they be chopped up and served in martini glasses so he looked sophisticated and didn’t have to bend over to eat. While his age was a much disputed topic, there was no doubt that George was an old ass man. I have been saying he was 23 for the past few years, but Courtney claims he was more like 20-ish. Regardless, George spent all of his nine lives well (and then some). He was loved by all and we will miss him dearly. Tonight we pour some out for our lil homie!

mtitone "Define Good" Ok. Hot tub time machine to 1999: When I was 18 years old, I was de-admitted from my first college choice and was left with 2 options: go to the University of Delaware or a small liberal arts school in Florida called Flagler College. I had never heard of (or been to) St. Augustine in my life, but the thought of getting far away from Delaware and living at the beach all year round was an exciting idea, so I went there. Within the first week, I met some of my closest friends to date and discovered the Giggling Gator, a bar that had just opened across the street from campus. They didn't even have a liquor license yet, but @shanmanwaller , @lindsaymiller34 (wild bill), @thatismattjohnson and I sheepishly stumbled in and saddled up at the bar after getting kicked out of a jock party and thus made the Gator our home away from home. That bar became the catalyst and focal point of a lot of amazing stuff in my life. I can't even begin to elaborate on all the epic and humiliating stories that (to me) make this the greatest bar of all time, but just trust me... Hard to believe how long it's been since the "drinking with Lincoln" days and all the weird shit we got away with there, but I am still thankful for the memories and all the great people in my life because of this glorious establishment (unfortunately I can only tag about 20 of them here). Maybe I shouldn't be so sentimental about a shithole bar -- or be writing long social media posts after midnight, but it's the holidays and I do what I wunt!! If you are ever in St. Auggie, please stop by, give Heather a kiss for me and pay homage to this classic smelly watering hole. Stay gold pony boy. RIP TJ 1mon
