mixoparthenos Hey friends! A yummy smelling find on a morning run today (it even ripened a little more running with it in my hand). Can anyone identify this #mysteryfruit ? Not sure if it's native to #southflorida but it can grow wild here. #diaryofarunner 1d

mixoparthenos One of my favorite snacks as of late: rice with seaweed! Brings me back to my childhood... going over to my best friend's house, sitting cross-legged on pillows at the low table. For the rice I did something special after it was done cooking. Added dulse, sea salt, sesame oil and a drop of mega-healing power using @doterra oregano oil (potent antioxidant and flavor!) I'm excited about using different therapeutic essential oils in culinary creations! Have you tried essential oils for healing before? 1w
  •   agnimai Rosemary oil all day! 1w
  •   planet_steph Haha my typical meal since childhood ;) just add some kimchi hehe 1w
  •   mixoparthenos @planet_steph yess! My friends kitchen smelled like kimchi too ^_^ mmmmyum! What are some of your favorite comfort foods? 1w
  •   mixoparthenos @agnimai Ooo I just ordered some! I'm excited to come up with a hair treatment :) 1w
  •   planet_steph I used to dislike kimchi, but now kimchi is my favorite - and since there are so many varieties of it, I don't seem to get sick of it ;) Have you tried glutinous/sticky/sweet rice? They're my favorite rice! 1w

mixoparthenos "Won't you be my neighbor?" Yesterday we got a bunch of bananas from one of the trees! We like to grow heirloom edibles (typically non-commercial), which offer unique flavors and textures, an array of wonderful nutrients and contribute to biodiversity. Plus, it's just neat to go out and pick your food from the earth! The butterflies and bees certainly get a feast on our green space do you grow some of your own food? Curious about starting? mixoparthenos Have you ever heard of Miracle fruit? After you eat one, foods that taste sour all of a sudden taste sweet! I like lemons anyhow, but after eating this fruit I could eat them as if they were oranges 🍋 Conjuring up a menu for an experiential dinner party ️ wouldn't that be fun?

ps if you're interested in growing these (homegrown) let me know, and I'll save you some seeds!

mixoparthenos A friend at the store enlightened me with some news about buffalo, and how it can be easier to digest for those who have sensitivity. I don't care what anyone says about cheese, but I think part of life is just enjoying (there's so much freaking stuff to worry about in the world) and everyone has their things that bring them joy... for me nothing can replace the diverse range of flavors created from traditions around producing cheese (except for Kraft American Singles... doesn't really intrigue me). And since I don't have cheese often, when I do, it's a divine experience for me yum! With that whole mouthful being said, for anyone who can appreciate cheese, this is quadrello di bufala. I sautéed figs with cashews in honey, sea salt and a dusting of pepper. Served with these crispy, thin sesame crackers made from rice. Take out a cheese plate, a bottle of wine and enjoy with good company. Cherish those moments in life. Happy Day mes amis 1mon
