misstamchiak It's charcoal waffles with creamy earl grey ice cream, drizzled with salted egg sauce. The cashier who served us was friendly and made good recommendation. It's rare for @nckai to suggest trying FatCat because the fiancé is usually not a cafe person. So I took the chance to order two desserts even though we were already full from lunch. Took a little while to shoot and edit this photo, I kept asking him to choose which shot looks better and he says all the same. 7h

misstamchiak Wanted to go Fat Cat but it was too crowded. So we went to Ming Kee (Sunmoon Kee) Cantonese Roasted Duck for lunch first. Not impressive. 11h

On the opposite block behind, blk 418, there's a prawn noodle shop that's highly recommended as well.. The broth is very good. I just stay around the area.. Hehe 9h

misstamchiak Mookata for dinner at Blk 332 Ang Mo Kio. Marinade for the meat wasn't fantastic but the 3 different condiments were great (the most spicy chilli sauce was solid). This is probably the cheapest mookata I have eaten, majority of the meat and vegetables cost only $1.80 per plate. We ordered quite alot and our total bill was only $29! They have 5 outlets. 1d

misstamchiak Brunch with my favourite girl @helloinfinite at BRIDGE, a 4-month-old restaurant in Seah Street. The menu is created by Consultant Chef Daniel Grobnik, who has 15 years of culinary experience and previously worked as Chef-de-Cuisine for the acclaimed restaurant Saint Pierre. The dishes are simple yet well executed. I love their Beef Parmentier with velvety smooth mashed potatoes and homemade corned beef brisket brined with red wine. misstamchiak Using #zairyosg's matcha jam, aunty and I baked a matcha roll with azuki cream in the middle of the night. We had fun experimenting Chef Yamashita's recipe together and adding our own adaptations. It wasn't a perfect roll but I love how the flavours worked well together - slight bitterness of the matcha complemented well with the sweet azuki beans. misstamchiak Saga-gyu is the highest grade beef produced in Saga prefecture in Kyushu, Japan. Singapore started to import Saga-gyu in 2011. This year, saga-gyu celebrates 30th anniversary and today, I got a chance to taste this beautiful meat at JIN Fine Dining Restaurant. Chef Thomas prepared a delicious Saga menu including Saga tenderloin teppanyaki cube and Saga sirloin tataki with ponzu sauce. Yums! 4d
