misstamchiak Massive Indian lunch at RAS Indian Restaurant Clarke Quay. Butter chicken with garlic naan is the best combination. Tandoori prawns and kesar paneer are not bad also! 17h

misstamchiak Went over to Johor Bahru to try dinner in the sky @ditsmalaysia, hosted by DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru. It was an out of the world dining experience when the chefs prepare dinner for you in the middle of sky. Honestly, my hands and legs were trembling (hence the not so clear pictures) and I don't really dare to look around but it's a view worthwhile. Till 19 June 2016. 1d

misstamchiak Updating @tigerbeersg's Instagram for the whole week so hop over to check out my updates! Over the weekends, we explored the neighbourhood last weekend and was recommended to try 36 M.S wanton noodles in a quaint coffee shop at Seletar Hills. Wanton mee with chilli sauce was decent but I like the non-chilli version with dumplings. The handmade noodles are tossed in dark sauce sauce that gives it the glistering look and the dumplings are juicy and tasty. But hor, don't expect big portions lah!

misstamchiak Just posted an article about Steam Box on www.misstamchiak.com. This new steamboat place in Serangoon Garden lets you steam the fresh ingredients (while getting your face steamed) and you can drink the porridge soup at the end of the meal. That's healthy indulgence! 2d

misstamchiak It has been a very stressful week with too much things going on, including collecting keys for our new home to doing two full days of food styling and photography for a great client. I am glad all went well and it's time to relax a little for the rest of May. This morning, I had the privilege to bring Cintia from Australia who blogs at @mypoppetblogs on a food tour around Chinatown to try some of our local cuisine. Her daughter Emma is such a sweetheart and quite adventurous when it comes to our local Singapore food. Have a great weekend everyone! 4d

misstamchiak If you prefer kee chang like me, then you will love Imperial Treasure's Lotus Paste Rice Dumpling ($4/pc). Using only premium lotus seeds, the Lotus Paste Rice Dumpling is set to bring some sweetness. The lotus seed paste filing is creamy, sweet and fragrant which complements well with the chewy glutinous rice.

Other options include dried scallop rice dumpling ($13.80/pc) and traditional pork rice dumpling ($5/pc). All rice dumplings are available for takeaway and dine-in at selected Imperial Treasure Restaurants. Don’t miss out the “Buy five get one free” promotion available for take-away only at all restaurants and bakeries (except Imperial Treasure Bakery at Midview City). Visit http://www.imperialtreasure.com/ for more information. While stocks last!

misstamchiak In a nation-wide survey conducted last October, it was found that Singaporeans perceive the food manufacturing sector as a labour-intensive, low-tech and low-value sunset industry. To test this common perception, I went behind-the scenes in one of our home-grown food factories, where I experienced a day in the life of a food manufacturer. misstamchiak Five ladies having high tea at PUTIEN (莆田) in @ion_orchard as they have just launched an all-new exquisite uniquely PUTIEN Dim Sum, with dishes at only $3.90++ each!

With more than 20 dishes in the menu, enjoy tasty highlights such as Stewed September Pearls with Gluten, pig stomach with eight treasure stuffing, popular jian bao, seaweed dumpling, deep fried oyster cakes, sweet potato buns and more.
My favourite is "Guo Bian Hu" where the rice paste is scrapped into the boiling broth as delicate rice noodles, complemented with vegetables, pork slices, shrimps for a comforting dish. Not forgetting the Heng Hwa Bee Hoon - manually milled by hand in Putian and infused with soy milk and simmered together with egg.

Valid daily from 2.30pm - 4.30pm. #IONfoodie
