The devil's curry (in picture) gives me the kick after a mouthful. I like the buah keluak which is finely grounded with added rempah gravy and simmered for 2 hours. We also had the mild curry fish head using their homemade curry paste that is made from scratch. This restaurant can hold a traditional tok panjang banquet for 15 to 25 pax. 16h

misstamchiak I enjoyed Soon Huat Pig's Organ Soup @ Serangoon Gardens (not their pig trotters though). The cloudy soup base came with a generous offering of pork offal. There is a punch of tanginess from the preserved vegetables. Nomssss! 1d

misstamchiak Running errands in Seng Kang this morning, so I stopped by Anchorvale for lunch. Armenian Street Char Kway Teow is not a stranger to many CKT fans. The original owner started frying in 1949. After it was closed, the second generation owner moved to a few other locations before settling in Seng Kang. Each plate of noodles comes with mini pork lard, bean sprouts, Chinese sausages and a spoonful of cockles. There is sufficient wok hei but not mind blowing. Add a little chilli for the kick. The uncle is very friendly and they are always smiling! They have other outlets in Tampines and Sin Ming. #instavideo 4d

misstamchiak Yesterday, I felt like a princess and I owe a part of that to @clarasongmakeup. The way she did my make-up was exactly how I wanted it to be. She is truly an incredible make-up artist, I couldn't even believe that was me in the mirror! The eyes, lashes, face...everything was perfect! Originated from Osaka, pastry chef Nagaoka-san opened its first franchise in Singapore with the Kopitiam Group. misstamchiak After a tiring photoshoot yesterday, I take things slow today. Lunch was Seng Kee bak chor mee soup @ Serangoon Gardens. The soup is sooooooo good, I can already smell the fragrant aroma of ti poh (dried sole fish) from a distance. We are going back for fish maw soup soon! 6d
