milk_thistle This is the card I painted for my own wonderful Dad, who has rediscovered his surfing past. Every Saturday morning he goes surfing with a group of mates all between the ages of 60 and 70. I sewed that little surfboard cover on the card and slid some $$ inside to go towards a new surfboard cover for his own board 1w

  •   milk_thistle @louelt1 I just ate heaps and they were super sweet! Nom nom 2w
  •   pru_perkins yummo\ 2w
  •   weebirdy Oh my! What a great harvest. We need to turn a huge patch if weedy earth into a veggie garden. At a loss where to start! 1w
  •   milk_thistle @weebirdy I'd just start with a small patch first, a raised bed if you can, so u don't kill your back. You can even buy some gorgeous pre-fab raised beds now too. It's handy if you can access it on all sides too, not just for more sun on the plants, but to reach everything easily. Start with simple things that don't require much effort like salad greens, radishes, asian greens etc, they grow fast too. I also like dwarf or bush beans too, they are small and shrubby but produce lots of beans. Climbing beans grow well up bamboo teepees too, I think that looks really nice as well. I'm always trying to figure out how to make our vegie patch ornamental as well as productive, since it pretty much surrounds our entertaining area outside! 1w

Hudson Trina
milk_thistle Ruby has a sore throat from having a bad cold with a touch of bronchitis. Cough cough cough. But convincing her to have medicine? #uphillbattle 3w
  •   megangale Another great tip he gave me was to mix apple juice in water 1:4 it helps them to digest the water- when they are really sick the water straight can sometime give them a sick tummy or make them vomit. Hopefully she is feeling better soon x 3w
  •   lozziemiller My boys HATE panadol. Get some dymadon. The Boys would drink that by the bottle if I let them. Or nurofen! 3w
  •   naejeantrow My kids hate Panadol too. Chocolate milk chaser wins every time 3w
  •   milk_thistle @naejeantrow @bekahann84 @lozziemiller Thanks gals! Don't know why I didn't know about Dymadon already, will definately get some tomorrow 3w
  •   milk_thistle @megangale That's a great tip about the apple juice Megan, will definately try that, as she is slightly more interested in juice (which I dilute 50/50 with water) at the moment anyway😀 3w
  •   lozziemiller By the way..is that a new panadol or an old one...it's different to the ones I used to use! And yep, dymadon all the way! to ruby , fevers are the worst...keep on top of it! 3w
  •   naejeantrow Hope she feels better real soon! Nothing worse then sick bubbas!! 3w
  •   milk_thistle @lozziemiller Umm... I think it's relatively new, maybe a few months old. Got Dymadon yesterday, MUCH less drama! Tastes way better and easier only having a 4ml dose opposed to 9 for Panadol!! 3w
