messygoat Yay! My shirt came from @massdrop but Jerry said it wasn't appropriate to wear it to parent night at school. Yeah... Probably not. Might've raised some questions. 5d
  •   rgstephens Maybe wear it the last day before Christmas? 5d

messygoat Hello, friends in the UK ... @lilysquilts @imagingermonkey and anyone who ships to the UK regularly @justabitfrayed @pinkcastlefabrics ... A friend in the UK wants me to send this pillow cover to her and wants to pay for shipping in advance. Is it REALLY $24.75 to ship a flat-rate envelope? Or can I send it for less than that? Seems insane for a pillow cover. I don't have to send it quickly-- it can go on the slow boat-- but I don't want her to have to wait months either. UPS or USPS better? Thanks for your help. 3w
  •   jenniferjohnston80 ups and FedEx are terrible for international shipping (brokerage fees)...definitely go with USPS. Is there anything else that she wants that you can use to fill up the flat rate envelope to make it more worthwhile? Also make sure that you declare a very low value on the package (like $10) or she'll have to pay an insane amount in taxes. 3w
  •   evildemondevildog @messygoat anytime. And absolutely gorgeous work btw! 3w
  •   justabitfrayed USPS is your cheapest option. Flat rate is usually the best option. You can send it first class if it weighs less than 2 lbs or so and it will be cheaper. 3w
  •   cshaver916 Love the colors 3w
  •   gingersnapsquilts Pretty! 3w
  •   messygoat Thank you, @justabitfrayed and Thank you, @jenniferjohnston80! 3w
  •   l1ttlemonkey I send stuff to Germany all the time and a flat rate envelop is usually not the best option. If you can make it fit into a big envelop and if it's under 2 lbs it costs $16 from the US to Germany. So I would think the UK is similar. 3w
  •   traceyquilts First class will be less. I sent a mini plus some extra goodies to Europe and it cost something like $12 3w

messygoat Finished! Bought these fabrics in 2007, made the top in 2010, quilted half of it in 2012, and finally finished it. I'll get better photos tomorrow. It's a big one. 4w
