melsays With a new month comes the chance to press reset and start fresh again. It also gives you the chance to set new goals.
The last week of April was a difficult one, everything changed a split second. Travel and fitness plans had to be postponed and things had the get cancelled. But the one thing I've been working on a lot lately is being in the present moment. The past can't be changed and the future is not here yet, so why not savour the present and be as positive as possible and welcoming to change. Sometimes you need to take a step back to take three steps forward. Wish I could be in California today as scheduled but I know I'll be back soon

Nighttime can often be the loneliest and most hopeless part of the day for those living with mental illness.

melsays In a week tomorrow, I get to test my athletic abilities and endurance against Olympic athletes at the 1st ever @fanfitchallenge in Toronto. Working on my speed for the "beep beep" test, 1 of the 5 challenges I will have compete in. Stoked to participate in this one of a kind event.
