I love this exercise (love/hate ) because it's a unilateral movement and helps you improve mobility and balance and also the strengthening of one leg at a time. This was a drop set of 10 reps with the DB's, then immediately dropping the weight and performing an explosive version of the movement (for 10 reps). Dropsets are my favorite tool because you are exerting all your energy and training the muscle until failure Try 4 sets of this superset! #powerhousetampa

mdemske So I wake up every morning at 4:43am (yes, 43) to do my cardio and then go to work and lift after work. Some days I do NOT want to get up, some days I'm struggling to stay awake or I don't feel like lifting after a long day of work. But I do it because I know the summation of everything I'm doing matters for the end result. Be patient, trust your process and stay consistent. - Front rack walking lunges with 8 front squats at the end 10 steps/3 sets
- Cable front squats (with straight bar) 20 reps SS loop resistance band kickbacks 10 regular, 10 lateral each side/3 sets
- Single ham curls 1.5 reps; 10 each side/3 sets. - DB Bulgarian split squat SS jumping lunges 10 each side/3 sets
- 15 sumo squat with 1 dumbbell SS 15 barbell deadlifts/3 sets
- leg extensions w/3 drops 10 each/3 sets
- 20 jump squats with resistance band SS kettlebell swings 10 reps/3 sets
- Glute cable kickbacks superset hamstring curls on cable 10 each/3 sets
